Lol Voetsek - and here i am sitting on the deck of our holiday house in Ramsgate with the sea crashing in the background. The fridge is stocked with as much G&T as possible, and the Christmas cake is half eaten. Later on i will take the rod and pretend to be fishing - but i suppose that would require some bait on the hook and to be honest its just too much work taking the slimy bastards off the hook . Another hard FULL days work in paradise...
Actually it would help if i could fish, as my sons Grandma just bought him his first rod for Xmas. So yesterday i took him down to the rocks and thought the overhand cast would do the trick, so with about ten 9 year olds looking on, i flipped it over my head (only thing was that the reel was toooo loose). 1 second later, the hook landed at my feet and about 20 meters of gut popped out of the reel thingy. It was shameful and in the end tThere were these same 9 year olds trying to untangle my mess and giving me tips on how to fish, while they pulled out fish after fish... Little smug bastards...
