I agree we need to have fun but there is a difference between fun and fucking around. If you just want to fuck around then that is cool but there is no place for that in competitive play. We can still have fun and do well, we just need to be consistant......Otherwise I am changing our name to Bafana Bafana

Howzit guys I'm in CPT for the wkd so I won't be contributing much. I agree with the idea that we should be having more fun, I think the reason why we're not is because we don't have a solid 12 man squad. That means we don't practice enough or get to play enough friendlies, so the time we do have is completely rushed to get everyone on the same page. I don't think we should just write ourselves off now, we reaped rotten fruit and we shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water.

I don't know how you guys feel about it, but I think we've improved a lot as a team and despite the flakyness and losses, we have shown some real balls against teams who are, let's face it, a professional gaming outfit in every sense. I havnt done the best job possible and I'm very disappointed that i couldn't get us to convert those close matches. In the end, we got some good xp and have a decent idea of what we need to do going forward.

We might not have much of a competitive stint left, but let's play our games to win. We should definitely rope in potential players now so they get a taste of DGL. As slippo says, lets have some fun with it and laxen up the command and emotional aspects. Hopefully it will give our players the space they need to feel more committed to the game and make better decisions for themselves and the team in game. However if we drop the practicing and just fool around we would be wasting everyone's time.

Let's get the recruitment going, test out a few guys and make a call on who is acceptable. Then let's get lots of friendlies in and play to poon the crap out of other teams. With the pressure off, we can even play a full clan game with air etc lots of clans are interested in that. So ya, disappointed but not down and out. This is an opportunity to have the time we need to sort our house out and get our groove back.

Did we make any effort at all to recruit players over the last couple of weeks?

I don't think there was much. There will be a transfer window so we can see with the pickups if there are any potential people.

With Murgs back up and running and holidays coming to an end for you. We should have 9 or 10 dedicated people which will do us for now

Do we have any idea what's happened to Lep? Haven't seen him anywhere for months. Not on the forum, in-game, online on Steam or anywhere. Surely we should sub in one of the nutz who is keen to play rather than having someone on the team that is completely absent?

How about putting Geth in the team? He may not be around much, but at least we know that when he's around he is around?

Or fly?

Maybe even bring Mark in as a merc? Whatever the history with him, he's a dedicated BF3 player.

I don't know whats been cracking but it seems like even though we have decided to go and have a lot more fun in BF3, the flame has been partially doused with water..
We need to overcome this guys and get some soldiers that are keen to kick ass and lol about while doing it.

My suggestion is as follows:

- We have a good idea of who wants to play at this stage, lets do final round ups of potential additions and existing players within grrr. If someone hasn't spoken up till know about wanting to be involved, we need to see it as not interested / too busy / other commitments etc (NO OFFENCE TAKEN AT ALL OFC) and move on. We're at the critical stage now of our future and BF3 and cannot chase people / force em to play. You guys are still in the family of course, but we can't waste any more time trying to get people that don't wanna play, to play.

- We get all the remaining players in a MMBL meeting. Have a serious talk about where we going with this. Start discussing existing issues we have had in the past, how to overcome em etc. This is a good time for the guys that will be participating in DGL to discuss any concerns they may have before the league kicks off.

- We also need a gameplan regarding recruitment. I feel we need to get some new blood in. Guys that are excited to play BF3 in DGL AND are grrr material. Not easy to find these type of people, but they are out there!

Calling a spade a spade is my forte. So allow me to state: Morale is at an all time low at the moment, we got hurt in Leg 1. Our prides, our rep, our fun-factoringz took a massive knock. We have a lot of AFK players at the moment and its just bad timing. But life is like that and i know we all understand that priorities in life are NB!

But we have what it takes to come back guns blazing (punny). Lets regroup and get ready to rock n roll. This time with a slight difference of course.. We need to take stock guys.

What do you guys think?

I think the holiday's and stuff have messed things up a bit but I have left it up to Tyger and Hubris. I registered the side as is just so we didn't miss the cut of but they have up until today to change it.

I did suggest that the nutz can change out but it didn't seem like any where keen or could commit
