Well said Hubris, I fully agree.

On my part (and I'm sorry this is late) I just want to say that I wasn't prepared in the slightest for this game. I didn't read the strat brief, and I wasn't even fully aware that the game was on. For this I apologize.

With that being said though, I liked the idea of trying new roles. But in reality that one didn't work for me in the slightest. I felt like a caged wolf. I wanted to attack, but I had to stay with the tank. And the times I a did break away, it ended up with our tank getting taken out.

I am unfortunately in the same boat as Dryman and wound up playing an absolute shocker of a night. I have serious personal stuff on the go at the moment that is causing me an immense amount of stress and I am losing a bit of battlefield focus as a result.

Regarding the SL's giving orders, I am happy with this, however there is a problem with squads being in separate comms channels. We need to possibly look at getting more disciplined on the chatter front. All of us have been guilty of it. I still however feel that having 8 sets of eyes and ears on more or less the same page is better than only having 4 (even if the SL's have "whisper" functionality).

Lastly, I have found that I don't know if I am well suited as an SL. I get serious tunnel vision when I play and my playstyle is very much "throw caution to the wind". I don't know how you guys feel about this, but I am more than happy to report into Tyger as SL within Vangaurd.
