Damavand is pretty simple, both sides play the same strategy. Noashahr canals is not so simple, but it should be an interesting map. Both are engineer heavy and we will need to be smart about our own tickets. Be patient and don't get upset if it doesn't work first time around. Think about what you're doing and how we can over-come - if you give the strats thought it really helps to get timing and tactical awareness right. Let's try Paul in the tank tonight, with Dry rolling in the tank CITV. I will spanner monkey and run-gun for the defence of the tank. Since our tank is really filling the space of a squad, I think we need some run/gunners supporting it to protect it from troops and provide some presence on the ground if its going down.

DAMAVAND PEAK:

We will need our defence squad guarding our back flag with IGLA's (or SOFLAM/JAV) and mines. They will pretty much stay there the entire game, unless they choose to release a player forward to help out on the attack (i.e. scout helo not a problem). Our tank will be the main body of our attack and I'm betting on us losing our helo at some point trying to attack their back flag. So Dry will stay in Phatso's squad to provide a beacon for them to spawn into but he will ride and run-gun for the tank (squad switching to spawn in tank). As always, mines are crucial, please let's get them in this time. If you're moving through the tunnel on foot, please treat the rocks as a priority area to hold. You can stage their safely to pressure B and cut off enemy reinforcements with cross fire.

NOSHAHR CANALS:

From the US side, we want to get our AMTRAC in and around A - it's strong armour will be good cover for our defence squad who should focus on keeping it up as a spawn point for our chopper team to get in on the ground easily. Our LAV will go straight to B and try hook into C and take out their heavy tank. Our scout helo is buzzing the three points, providing fire support, dropping troops and then racing behind cover again. We only use the second helo if we are down with the AMTRAC and need a quick insertion for our defence squad. We have to attack a point all together, except for defence who hold our first point. If we don't secure A early, we will struggle to get a foothold and will lose the game. So it's a priority flag, C is our second objective and B our third.

On the RU side, we have to hold C and let our tank deal with the pesky choppers. If they become a problem, let's take a vodnik into the trainyard to help. Both Phatso's (in the helo) and Pmurgs's boys will attack A, then leave behind the defence squad to take B with the support from the tank. Once the tank moves up to B, Pmurgs has to go back towards C. If we don't do this right, and wait for our support or defence to get in position, we will lose a lot of tickets running between points and we will most likely lose the flag we have just worked so hard to take. We must push for capouts while their armour is down or travelling. Noshahr is unique in the DGL list because there is a carrier. Its all about awareness and teamplay to keep the attackers off your turf.

Hey guys.. Have had a very hectic week and the next few weeks are going to be a little bad for business. Will try keep sharp as much as possible on pubs and make every effort to attend praccies.

That being said, I can't make Saturday night practice, which is quite shite given the fact that I need to get some teamplay in with the scout chopper. Fortunately I am confident in my ability to fly that thing through Damavand tunnel if you want me to ;)

Finally, and I know I haven't been full of good news, but I am going to have to WhatsApp you for Sunday Stef. As it stands, I am 80% sure I can make it.
