Okay, bookings are now made. Costs break down as follows:

Ten Pin Bowling (includes 1 game and 4 platters of assorted nibbles) - R93 per person
Go Karting (includes heats and finals) - R145 Per person

As mentioned before, the slush fund can cover the cost of Karting for those that do not have the means. However, it would be good if those who can afford it would refund the money to me to reimburse into the fund.

Lastly, we have a braai lined up for the Saturday night. In order to avoid having to run around on the weekend to buy meat and booze, I'm going to suggest that we all contribute a n amount into a kitty, and I'll see about getting all of the food and drink in beforehand. I reckon that we should be good with R150 per person for the braai - giving a total of ~R2500 - of which any remaining funds can be put into the fund.

Please can anyone who is not happy with this arrangement let me know ASAP, as I'd like to get some of the shopping done this weekend.

For those who can't add, the total cost for the weekend will be R388 per person, for those that refund the karting cost (R243 for those that don't).

Also, please let me know ASAP if you plan on bringing anyone along for the braai - partners and friends of GRRR are always welcome. They will of course also be subject to the R150 kitty charge.

Oh, and if anyone has any specific drinks requests, please post them ASAP. If you don't you'll just have to be happy with Beer and Wine.

I think that's it. It's only a week away now guys!! The excitement is mounting!!

AS for Drink Suggestions, I am assuming this is only counting Soft drinks, Beer and Wine. Any hard tack would be for the account of the person.

I pretty much drink Karate Juice, Brandy (Klippies or Richeleu) and Coke. Not really a beer fan and the ciders have started to give me acide reflux.(Oh man am I getting old).

As for Wines I like a good Shiraz or a Cab, not really a Melot fan. But then again I only drink wine at dinner not at a braai.

Long Story should just make sure there is a lot of Coke and I will handle the rest
