Overall, I've been awesome. And I hope you guys have been too. I see old faces with new names, some of which I met yeaaaaars ago at rage. Yeehaaa! Remember winning that BF1942 comp at rage? I played for BFC - it was meant to be the clan representing South Africa simply choice of community and not because of some trials such and such decided to go through to determine the w1nners. The community chose BFC (I'm going back years now, 2003 ?) as the representing team to, yeah, pretty much represent itself!
It feels like for me today, that some higher authority wishes teams to battle it out to represent this higher authority in gaming and player choosing. I think it's ourselves that should choose each other - by way of vote.
I was reading EGGMAN's top 8 BF2 player list, and top 8 Grr player list - MAN! That is epic! Being honoured so highly to be sent off to zimbabwe or taipei or whatever to kick some int ass by being chosen from the community is awesome.
I don't feel todays choice of player is as awesome, because only a select few with 'THE POWA!' make those choices, when it should be a mass-choice decision, made by a select few people who represent that mass (who've been chosen by that mass) to put into leadership or representasionalship(this is a word now?) for the global oneness (<<-- where did THAT come from??) team. Yeah!
