Post by Jackal-GI »

Good day guys and gals. I am playing SWTOR basically all the time much better than LOTRO for me. Better graphics, story and so on.
So I got a pass to invite like 25 friends for a 1 week pass to try and judge for yourselfs. So if any of you want to please post a email adress so that i can send you a one week invitation. I have the game files if anyone needs them. The folder is 32gigs.

Hope that soem of you will come and join me on the light or the dark side :)

Wow, sounds like it would be EPIC - the timing is a bit off though - with Diablo 3 releasing yesterday.

Whats the expiry period of the Invites?

I've only been wrong once, and that's when I thought I was wrong.

No idea when it expires but i will wait a bit if you guys prefer it. Last night some SWTOR player wnet to play D3 but after an hour came back to play star wars said they were really dissapointed in the game. At least star wars is still going strong even with the release of D3

I don't want to be a dick here, but that SWTOR player either had connection issues, or is talking shit. The games cannot be compared at all. 3rd person MMO, vs Isometric ARPG. Also, SWTOR lost 400,000 subscriptions in Q1 (http://kotaku.com/5908338/star-wars-the-old-republic-loses-400000-subscribers)

I was looking forward to SWTOR as a long time ex-WoW player and MMO junkie, but eventually decided that there were too many games I wanted to play, and not enough time. Another factor are the subs, which may be a sticking point for some players.

Sorry if it feels like I am just being a douche here. Some guys should definitely try it if they wish, because if you fall in love with a game, the above is irrelevant.

Try Diablo 3 Jackal :)

(I would've liked a week pass earlier in the games release. No time at all now, and Diablo 3 is just way too magical to even care about another game :D . Then there is BF3 that is taking the rest of my non-existent free time)

I also was really, really excited about his but it was launch round about the same time as BF3 and that is my first love and I only have time for 1 love.

If I had all the time in the world I would be playing BF3, SWTOR and D3 all day every day
