On Friday, 24th Febuary we were traveling back from other side of Louis Trichardt. 3 girls and the missus in a rav 4.

"DADDY I NEED TO PEEEEEEEEEE"

I hadn't seen a sign for a one stop for a while and so i thought that taking the next offramp to a sleep hollow that used to be called Naboomspruit would be safe. as soon as we took the offramp I realized our mistake. THERE WAS NO ON RAMP to get back onto the highway - this was beginning to sound more like creepy hollow than sleepy hollow. We had no choice but to forge ahead. Its quite a clever ploy for the municipality to have off ramps on one side of the town and on ramps on the other - saves money and you force the peeps to drive through your town.

I could feel the wife's trepidation when it looked like the whole town was one massive taxi rank.

"STOP AT THE KFC - that should be safe"

and to be fair it was clean, everything worked, but ............





they where playing Christmas carols. I knew then that we where relatively safe.

so all emptied out and back in the car, we where driving out to the next on ramp and on the side of the road, next to the railway line there was a sign:
