Learning to fly

Post by baselineac »

so there i was, driving home from on a winding gravel road.....went round a corner, lost the ass and nosedived into a ditch....and front flipped the bakkie about 30 meters down a ravine, doing 1 and a half(confirmed) somersaults and landing on the roof.......
the joke is....after the farmer came with his bulldozer and put me back on my wheels......i drove the bakkie up the hill, back onto the road ...and 18km home...luckily the only injuries were, a 5cm gash on my leg, a hole behind my ear, and a bruised shoulder.....my assistant merely grazed his knuckle

It reminds me of the story where the farmworker also rolled his bakkie... when the first people arrived on the scene they asked: "So are you ok?" to which Jonas responded, "Eish Madame, die baas hy weet nog nie hiervan nie..."
