Internal game Sunday 4th December

Ok we have another prac game against the Nutz on Sunday.

Hurbris can you please select a team so people know if they need be there and be available for prac tonight. (FUCK I am in Business mode)

Cool the maps are Operation Metro and Damavand Peak, both heavy infantry fighting maps. I wish for the following players, but I will give preference to guys who are at practice tonight. We have great flexibility in our squad, what a pleasant nuisance trying to form a lineup!

I decided to go heavier on the support squad, as opposed to the security, since both maps are quite "boxed". Two LMGs should be able to hold both sides of the crunch point with the help of their medics - pairplay will be critical so gunners get those kit swops and know how to handle the gun your medic uses and the role he plays.

Game objectives are to secure the crunch point off the bat for a price of no more than 50 tickets, then hold the crunchpoint until we have taken 150 tickets (100 remaining), then capture the final flag for a price of no more than 50 tickets and hold for close out with no more than 2 back caps on our flags per round (win by >100).

Two things. I won't be able to make practise tonight so if there are enough people at practise for a full team then they should have a go at the game. I would also use this game as a prac for the SSG game. I am sure we will select a map and so will they so think about what map you want to play against SSG.

Second thing, actually third, Damavand Peak is a shit ball of a map so I am not even going to comment on it, I will just comment on Metro.

Metro it is quite obviously that the middle flag is key, it is in public games but with only 8 people I am not so sure how easy it would be to hold that flag and not allow anyone passed

My initial thoughts are

* EVERYONE goes for B and CAPS
* 1 person caps the flag at the back
* Hold the middle flag and drain the tickets.

But as I said, is this possible with only 8 people. I think there are 3 routes to get to/around B flags. I would suggest you map all these routes and then see if from a central place they can all be covered well. If not then I would highly recommend a flag jumping system. For example we cap B, then head straight to their back flag, avoiding conflict.

Hopefully they go and cap B while we cap their back flag. You hold their back flag for a bit but quick head back to B, as you die you spawn at our back flag and head back to B. So basically we are pulling them from B to their flag and back. If you pull this off, even with the tickets you lose to them killing you, you win by having 2 flags for the majority of the time.

Word of caution, this manoeuvre can back fire if the team isn't gelling well and it ends up with them holding all flags.

Sounds good. Will have a look at how tonights praccie pans out, but I foresee OpMetro being a bish due to grenade / rocket spammable areas aplenty.

Should be home before 8.30, np. I take it that you want motion sensor if I play as recon? Will also try suss out a good gun for engaging - being paired with a medic, I assume you want them to maintain cover and res when I die?

EDIT: I am also far more comfortable playing as medic and being res monkey for a decent pwner - not sure if Paul's unavailability influences kit roll out at all. Anyways, whatever, whenever, 100% shall be given.
