Hi guys, this is a Nutz only discussion board. We can discuss any Nutz strategies etc on this board without the Baggers having access hereto. I don't know about you guys, but I definitely take offence that the baggers seen the Nutz as "second team", as such, I will really appreciate it if we can give this our best shot. Good team work and solid strategies are emphasised in BF3, so even if they may have individuals with a better KDR than us, at the end of the day, if we can get our strategies and commitment sorted out, we can give them a serious go for their money.

The following is Team nutz, may I suggest that where possible, team up with your fellow team mates on the public servers and learn to gel with each other.

- FlyCatch
- Jackal-GI
- MegaGeth
- Onyx
- Shadey
- Skouperd
- Slodaz
- Stu
- Cr0n0s
- TygerBS
- Voetsek-Mikey

Sunday is our first inter-clan match, the Nutz that signed up for the game are:

- Jackal
- Shadey
- Mega
- Onny
- Stu / Ice
- TygerBS
- Skouperd
- Voetsek
- Fly
- Cr0n0s

Which unless I have missed somebody, mean we are 10 players and 2 players need to sit out. For the time being, can I ask that the people that is running on unstable connections act as reserves please? I know it is not nice, but there are few things as horrible when somebody disconnects during a game due to poor connection. Given that we will be playing 3 maps, I am happy to give everybody a chance at the game.

Ion and myself will work on some strategies tonight for the maps that we will play, but in the meantime, this is my idea, and please let me know what you think about it:

1. We all use a single channel on TS
2. We have 2 squads of 4 people, that way it maximises the squad bonus
3. We have 2 squad leaders, who will be looking after the squad, the squad leaders need to be people that is able to get their squads in the right position and know what is required from each player
4. The individual breakdown of the squads will be determined for each map, but if we are going conquest I will imagine a great need for medics, try to get as many unlocks with the assault kit as possible
5. At the end of each game, please try to make an effort to make detailed comments on what you think can be improved on. We are all grown ups and should see this as a nice way for us to improve our own gaming.

The objective for the first inter clan match is the following:
1. Work on our communication skills during the game (sorting this out sooner rather than later will help us in the long run)
2. Identify the squad leaders. In order to optimise the chance for us to identify the best squad leader, I am going to run different squad leaders for each of the maps.
3. See what players (and kits) play well with others

If we achieve the above, then I recon we have a good starting point for the league.

I will post the 3 teams (giving everybody a chance), and also the 6 different squad leaders (two for each map). I just need to review the different player levels and see who got what squad unlocks to date.

Anyevent, welcome to the Nut-house guys, let’s have some fun while we beat the crap out of the other teams.

QFT!!

As for the squad structure,IMO I think that a 4 4 structure could work on IO maps. However a 2 2 4 structure would be better on the majority of maps.

Also to add to the assault kit comment, everyone should by standard be using the AEK. If you dont have the weopon, unlock it asap.

Another important thing is that we will have to take advantage of the games features. Especially will the Soflam etc. We will need someone to focus on the recon kit..... Also, if someone gets assinged a tank/chopper whore position, Please make a point of getting as many hours as possible with the hardware .

Also will have to make a point of ranking up to get the squad perks instead of the individual ones.

In essence I think we will have a lot of fun with getting to know the competitive side of bf3 as this is almost a whole new world!

Best of luck to my fellow Nuts! hope you are as psyched as I am !!

I'll be there Wed. Is this a Nuts only prac? If so, I think everyone in Nuts that can be there should be there for the experience.

As mentioned my availability will be sporadic, I think I should fill in where there is a gap rather than hold down a specialised position.

We need dedicated flight teams. Fly is a great chopper pilot, I think he needs to practice with a decent gunner so they are N Sync :p unk: and get all the unlocks they require.
- Tactically I think we should focus on using armour correctly and making good use of vehicles.

I'm willing to offer my gunner services to Fly! But I will need to arrange a time to get together and build up my unlocks. FLy and I worked well together in BF2 didn't we Fly?
