BF3 DoGaming League: Team Selection Completed

Post by Paul »

The time has come to announce the teams for the BF3 DGL which starts February 2012. This is the first draft and I am hoping we will getting quite a bit of practise of the next few weeks/months so that we can iron out any issues and determine if the below teams are correct.

So without further delay I present

Baggers
========
Hubris Captain

Dragonne
DryMan
j0n0
L3pr3c4un
Lee
NoMaD
Paul
Phatso
pmurgs

Nuts
=====
Skouperd Captain

Flycatchr
Geth
Jackal-GI
Onyx
Shadey
SloDaz
Stu
Th0r_23
TygerBS
Voetsek-Mikey

The above teams come with the following T & C's

* If any member as a problem with the teams they must PM me so we can discuss. Unless notified I will assume that each team member is happy with the selection and is willing and able to participate.
* The captains will have the final say on who the match/prac 8 for each week will be. This will be determined by player availability and the Captains discretion
* Myself and the 2 captains will come up with a team policy that will govern the commitment requirements of the players, transferring between the two teams (up until the beginning of each league season)

I expect people to be committed to their respective teams, if the captains are having trouble getting players to participate then we will collapse the two teams and choose the 10 most dedicated players. So think very carefully about whether you want to/can commit to what is needed.

Hey Tyger

my2c

Dude imho, The second team has more than just potential to beat the baggers. To think of this as a first and second team doesnt do this situation Justice.
If the players in the nuts team is comitted, we can kick some serious ass! There is a lot of players that has a good couple seasons behind them and I think that the 2 teams doesnt have a lot between them.....

Nuts, the second team? Since when? (I could tell you to go multiply yourself, but that would just be rude)

If memory serves me right, in BC2, the Nuts gave the Baggers a serious lesson in humiliation.

Tyger, seriously, at the end of the day it will all boil down to which team is the most committed that will win.

Nobody Panic - remember, Paul said this is preliminary . . . as it stands its actually more just alphabetic than anything else, Tyger said he'd probably add more vailue by being in the other team - I can't find myself disagreeing, though you need to get your ADSL sorted out, 3G whilst functional is not the best and I'm sure you'd agree.

This is a draft not a final template by any means.

I'm more than happy to sit any any of the teams, so feel free to move me around to where you think I'll fit best.
I know it may seem like there is a First and Second team, but like Skoups has said, they're actually both strong teams.

Tyger would like to see himself in the other team, so I think give him a chance, but it's not up to me.
I know Jarrod has stated several times that he may need to be heavily benched for the league due to his Real Life commitments, so possibly trade him for Tyger? -- just my thoughts...anyhoo back to work for me. . . .

PANIC!
QB I would guess that your selection was based on the following:
You had/have internet issues
You haven't much time on BF3
You haven't stated whether you will make yourself available for pracs etc
and not your record around the track.

As said, the selection is not final. Also, dont underestimate the nuts, some mad skillz there.
Ok, more madness than skillz.
