Grrr Server Issues Log

Last night we experienced massive lag on the Grrr server. I raised this with Jarrod and he needs us to keep a log of when this type of thing happens. This is the only way that he can raise issues with our provider. I don’t really go onto the server unless we are walking through a map or having a practice match but I will check in from time to time just to make sure that it is working as expected.

My worry is that we have a few practice games planned and may find our server un-useable (if that is a real word)

So here is my first record:

[+] 15/8 - not sure of the date but I remember that the last game we played (when we ran out of time) we tried our server and experienced continuous kicks from the game and some lag
[+] 24/8 Massive lag every few minutes from around 20:00-21:00

Hi Jarrod

Your BFBC2 server had an uptime of ~ 10 days, and was possibly leaking memory. I have restarted the server process.

I have also set a scheduled task to restart the BFBC2 servers at ~ 3 am every day. Let me know if this is okay.

I spoke with Dazzie, and he reckons that the server was a lot better last week. Unless anyone has any objections, I'm going to ask Peter to leave the restart at 3am task that he's now scheduled for us.
