Ya, playing SSG's first team is bad for moral. Whatever, I don't care. We can do SO MUCH BETTER!
Since we signed up for this league, can we please put forth our best team possible?

For the time-stamp watchers, I'm not 'drunk-posting'. Found out today my uncle-in-law has pancreatic cancer and has about 2 months to live. Can't sleep and thought I'd try to be productive with something I can possibly have an effect on.

Re: Let's get our shit together
Double post FTW.
Let us ask ourselves why we are failing? Do the other teams have stronger players than us? Or is it the fact that they work together better as a team?
Personally, I think they worked out how to play as a team. We have kick ass players that can take on anyone in a one-to-one situation.
So... are we adhering to old BF2 game play and not adapting to this new game? I think BC2 is more adapted to a COD style of play.
Take two of our strongest players for example... Lee and Geth. Both held their own in BF2, but also kicked ass in COD.
For this infantry based map, I'd like to see the following ppl play:
Alpha:
Jono (I know u said u cant play medic, but I know u can kick ass in assault kit)
Lee
Paul
Lep
Bravo:
Voetsek
Shadey
Daz
Murgs
Yes, I included Lep. His CNC machine broke tonight and he is not working tomorrow/ err today.. Thursday. I know he hasn't practiced, but he's one of our best ground pounders. (I'm not just being sensitive 'cause he's my hubby... go look at his stats.)

Condolences to you and Lep, Sheri. Let me know if you need to talk or whatever. I'm sure it goes without saying that your online family is here for you.

Yeah what j0nny said. Losing family is never easy.
But with regards to the topic, I definitely think it is case of us not gelling well, I don't know why. It could be because the game style is not condusive to the way our players play but the only way we will get it right is consistancy.
So if we want to do better (that is another question, do we want to carry on playing clannies in BC2) we need to assign specialist and specialist teams, e.g. what you did above for infantry.
I personally have gotten used to the way Lee plays and can kind of preempt his moves, so for example if he is a squad leader he wouldn't have to tell me all the orders only specific orders. I know that as soon as he has capped a flag he always moves, either to a secure location or to another flag. So I know that as soon as we have capped a flag I need to get on his ass and follow him
Other teams I think have worked out their inter-play where as we haven't, it might have come naturally to them but we can follow suite just by playing more together.
Maybe we should on the FFA servers play in our squads (even if it means switching side) just so we get 100% used to each other
