Distinguished Weapon Knowledge (BC2 Insignia)

Anyone else thinking they should have this but not been awarded it?
Seems in my case no matter how many kills I get with the Garand I dont get credited, hence no bronze and hence no insignia. Unless I am missing something...

You got Bronze with ALL weapons? There are 2 in the in-game list that are not on the stats site I use - the GRACH 443 pistol (or whatever it's called) and the SPAS-12 shottie. I'm assuming that the 'Gadgets' (AT rockets, n00b t00bs, smoke grenades etc) aren't included in the list of requirements, but maybe they are?

Anyway, I still need bronze with 3 of the pistols - will let you know when I get them if I get ze weapon award.

EDIT: Maybe they count stationary weapons in the requirements?

Got bronze with stationary too.
If I open my weapons page in the game browser, all have a star of some kind next to them bar the impossible; tracer, repair tool, smoke grenades etc.
The only one that I could do is the shotgun attachment for assault rifles. Given that it doesn't appear on the weapons page I am assuming the bug with the Garand is what is stopping my access to the shiny goodness.

He has better than bronze in EVERY weapon - even shmoke grenades and repair tools. Still no award.

¿Is missing bronze for quite a few vehicles and still has the Distinguished Vehicle Knowledge Insignia?

I think the cock-up is to do with the M1 Garand. But yeah, til they patch it, seems broke. Never realised you could get bronze for repair tool and defibs, gave up after a few kills. Will have to go for those as well.

Apparently M1 Garand kills are being credited to the Tommy-gun stats wise, hence why no one can get the Insignia.

I also want it, and have been working (slowly but surely) on getting all my bronzes. Have got 1/2 pisols left and a couple of the rank unlocks.

you lucky it's only the M1, I've got 4 weapons that have 0 count next to kills even though I've used them to MURDER on a couple of rounds exclusively.

just looked on bfbc2s.com and see that ONLINE i have stats for all the weapons but I know they aren't on my client..
Must be a client side bug.
