Mixed Nuts Team

I've just had a chat with our mate Vinko from BBH. He mentioned that only 6 of his clan members currently own BC2, and was looking to set up a 4v4 squad rush match. Anyway, I figured that this might be a good opportunity for us to put together a mixed nuts team for the League.

Currently we have too many players for one team, and not enough players to field two teams. I'm also sure that most of us would like to have the opportunity to play in the upcoming league.

I mentioned the possibility of a combined team to Vinko, and he's very keen. As part of this though, we agreed on two rules:

1. The Danglers gets first pick of grrr players. This is our number 1 team, and our best team of players should be selected for this team.
2. No BBH players will be eligible for the Danglers. This is a grrr only clan.
3. Depending on the total pool of players available, we'll allow for an equal number of players for each team. For example, If we have 16 players eligible, and they have six, then each team will get 8 players and three reserves. That should be sufficient for us to field two teams regularly throughout the league.

Okay, not I can't make any unilateral decisions about this. We need buy-in from everyone - would you be keen to play for a Mixed Nuts team made up of grrr and BBH players (if you are not selected for the Danglers)? Also, would you prefer to play for the Mixed Nuts team?

Now we need an answer to this pretty quickly, I'm sure that the league registrations will end fairly soon. This means that Lee will also have to complete the selection of his Danglers team fairly quickly, so that players can be allocated.

I think that this is a great idea, it'll give us the perfect opportunity to field two teams, meaning that more of us will get to play in the league. Also, I'm keen to help Vinko and the BBH guys out, they have after all been our 'sister' clan for quite some time

I am happy to play for either team. Given that I have very little time vailable to commit to practices, I wouldn't be surprised not to get picked for the main team anyways. Will play for whomever wants.

Excellent idea and it gives us a good point of comms with BBH, they are after all a decent bunch of chaps.

Same here - exactly what they said. I am in and would prefer the mixed team as i dont think that i can commit to the number of practice sessions required for our first team.

Can't commit to either team as I have said I will be there at pracs when ever I can but my place is fully open to anyone who can commit more than me

Do we create a new GRRRSquad sub-team with BBH members?
do we create a new CLAN to house "said" members?

It's a bit of a difficult one, but I'd assume it would be BBH within the GRRR Squad Clan in terms of DoGamingLeague registration?

That's what I was thinking, yes. I'm sure that Chaos and his guys would be happy to be added to our roster for this. Also, we'll probably be contributing more players, so it's easier getting the team registered if less players have to include themselves.

Within the team name we could include BBH e.g. "- BBH Mixed Nuts". That way, the team will appear as "[grrr] - BBH Mixed Nuts" once the tags are added. Or something like that...

Do we have enough for a consensus then? If so, I'd like to get back to Chaos and tell him we're a go if his guys are keen.
