Dear digital life
here is maybe an idea for an article
being an avid gamer, i really dont mind spending money on buying games, especially if the games are well written. EA/DICE are one of the publishers that tend to make rather good games. they are well setup throughout the world and in my opinion look after their customers rather well...err well until we meet EA south africa.
.....
if we look at ea germany, ea uk, ea america, etc etc.....they all host their own servers. for example...... ea/dice releases Battlefield Bad Company 2.....hey presto!!!!servers hosted by ea in each country hosts many servers for BF BC2.....yup you guessed it......EXCEPT!!!!! south africa. so how does this work?
here it seems we (the gamers) are only important when EA south africa wants to sell us the game, but thats as far as it goes...
i would love EA south africa to shed some light on this phenomenon, as contacting them directly does not seem to work.
