Hi Every one,
This is based on the discussion held on the 10 July 2016 on TS.
Thank you to everyone that managed to give feedback and arrived for the chat.
Rage this year is going to be something different, to reduce costs we are not going to be booking out Heatherdale (550 a night * three = R1650) but have every one staying at the coastal side come up and spend some days at a fellow GRRR accommodation in JNB.
We will meet up at rage to have a walk around and we can look at going to QB’s house on Saturday for the braai and beer pong. We also need to support Mike in the cosplay competition. Suggestions welcome.
Please take time in replying:
· Will you be joining in the weekend festivities?
· JNB – Do you have a spare bedroom for a visitor?
· CPT/DUR – When would you like to come up?
· CPT/DUR – Would you be flying up or driving?
· Suggestions on what you would like to do that weekend.

DUR - Driving up - I are haz loto quibmuntz to bring so drive it eez. Prefer to come up on a Thursday leave sunday midday.
My suggestion is group activities spanning the entire weekend - so i can film them. Fill up the weekend with things so that people are not wandered off in all directions (seems to happen a lot every year)

I'm probably not going to make it up this year, the cost is real, and i also dont want to use up my leave. a possible change of plan would be if I need to be in Jozi the week before for work, in which case I'll definitely stay on for the weekend - assuming that someone wants to put me up for the weekend. I do get to plan my wn travel nowadays, so hopefully I'll be able to arrange travel that coincides with rAge.
I think that, in order to make it an actual clan weekend, activities need to be set up for the whole weekend well in advance. otherwise the temptation is for people just to pop in and out, especialky for the guys that live further away from Jozi (thinking of Sheri here, not the Capetonians/Durbonian) for whom getting together might require a long drive.
I really hope that I can make it, rAge is a special weekend and I'd hate to miss it. But, that requires planning to ensure that it's the usual epic weekend.

Unfortunely I can't offer up a spare bed but I can help shuttle people around .
I will have a think about activities. When we all went down to CPT for XXXL party we did go-karting which I thought was excellent. Maybe we do something like that. There is go-karting at Prince Crossing ( West rand side) and GreenStone Mall (Edenvale side).

1. Yes I will be coming to rage
2. Need a place to park off
3. I prefer April/May (if durbs I might be able to arrange some cheap accommodation in toti[friend owns a flat])
4. Driving prolly and should be able to sponsor a lift to a couple of people.....

I cannot commit to anything unfortunately. I cannot cast a vote as I do not know whether I am going to be there or not.
Sorry guys and girls, but this year is madness and financially things are super toit. Already going away a lot and taking another weekend away won't fly well in any aspect of life.
Even should the usual Heatherdale go down, I cannot say for definite I will be there. Hopefully a one nighter but I just do not know.
