New Nick for the New Era?

Right so here we are, BC2 BETA Thursday with the FULL game arriving just over a month later.

So the question is, with this being the New ERA, do you go with a new Nic, or stay with your BF2 recognised name.

I'm considering the following:

1. leelo0270 (Take the Blue pill and continue living in the dream world)
2. leelo (Don't take the pill, someone could have spiked it)
3. Slipperyduck (take the Red Pill and see where the Rabbit hole takes me)


Keeping in mind that you can play the BETA (This Thursday) and keep your Username.

I decided I was going to stick to the new nick that I got.

So no BF2 old nick for me....

As for me, I'm just hoping to remove the numbers in my nick.

I will most definitely be changing my nick. If I can I will just be going with Paul or P4ul or something like that. If all those variations have been taken (damn I still need to pre-order) then I will think of something else

E.g.
Lumb3rgh (Which I used in TF2)
theDamage (use that in various places as well, it is an abbr of Amsterdam where I hail from)

I just want my nick with no numbers. No more Phatso3.
If I absolutely have to, it would be Ph4tso.

You know what would be kind of fun (but I would potentially suffer the most, YOU PEOPLE!) is if everyone here was allocated a "partner" who would give you a new nick for BF:BC2

Only thing is I can see a clan full of members with nicks like

Great suggestion, if just for the laughs.

Two rules though:

1. Two people can't be each other's partners. Otherwise collusion might occur...
2. I want Odi to be my partner (i.e. the one who chooses my nick)... nyx:

It would be my honour to choose one, Jarrod. nyx: An interesting thought there sycho: choosing names for each other if its just for laughs.

I was thinking of keeping mine the same for the new game, other than removing the numbers. Its what people have come to know me as and it would be terrible to confuse them now.

I'll leave it for a few hours though. This will give everyone a chance to throw me a bribe for the right to choose Paul's new nick...
