rAge Final Stuff

Post by Paul »

So we have a few threads dealing with rAge stuff and most is sorted but I though seeing as we are literally days away we need to make sure everything is done. So this what I have please add comments or suggestions of stuff outstanding

* Accomodation - Everyone has a place to stay for the weekend and the accomodation has been paid for. Please pay outstanding fees when ever possible
* Tickets - Everyone either has a ticket or has been allocated a ticket. Paul get the DGC tickets on Friday and meet everyone at Heatherdale
* Friday Night - Tyger organised with the Sizzler so only a time has to be set both Tyger and I won't attend as we have other "Responsibilities"
* Braai - Food and booze has been "ordered" the cost still needs to be given so that people can pay what ever is necessary

* NAG LAN Attenders - You guys need to organise what you guys will be playing etc, you can come watch the comp as and when you please once we know the schedule we will communicate this

* DGC Attenders - We need to setup and make sure everything is ready on the Friday, comp will start at 8:00/9:00 most probably on the Saturday so we won't have time on the Saturday. Gonna try organise a SiB friendly on the Friday as a warm up.

Am I missing anything?

Yes - "you're a douche"

And HHHOOOOOORRRAAAHHHHHHH

I have decided against bringing my Box up. Way too much risk to mitigate for my liking! Although the LAN is appealing being with the grrrbians is mah primary goal!

So basically you are going to pay me R350 just to be near me? Freak!

I would strongly suggest that everyone who has a lan ticket make ever effort to bring your PC and jam at the LAN. We have no idea how many games etc and what restrictions there will be (although spectators are allowed) regarding the comp. It might turn out that we are only active for a couple of hours on Saturday, what will the rest of the time be taken up by?

I don't know why you mention tickets, noone would be stupid enough to go all the way to rage and leave their ticket on top of their desk back in Cape Town.

wrt to the DGC tickets.

Not sure if it will be handled the same again this year, I heard last year that there is no tickets and every individual as registered in their teams on the dgl site needs to collect their armbands individually with some sort of idetification? in which case Paul will be wasting his time going to collect tickets.

again, not sure if this is the case again this year....

The process is for the team Captain/Manager to go register the team at the desk and get the tickets/Armbands. If it is a case that the individuals have to be there well then I will find out, Dome is on the way to Heatherdale from my place so it won't be an issue
