Competitive Team break

Post by Paul »

So we have done everything that we have set out to do, we have made it into the first division and we are going to rAge. Based on the previous 2 performances though I can see that peoples hunger or enegy levels just are not there.

So I am proposing we stop all pracs and friendlies until 23rd September. That gives everyone 3 weeks to fuck around and recoup so that we come back at 100%. Then on the 23rd, 25th, 26th, 30th September, 2nd October, 3rd October we will play a barrage of friendlies in order to prepare for rage.

So who agrees?

Sounds good, maybe just start doing inhouse pracs again the week of the 17th so we can run through the maps and sort out the fine print for the maps we arent too gelled on?
that will still give a solid 2 weeks off time...

Also, think we need to build up to the rage comp and just jumping into clannies before rage might not be as effective?
Also, we need to make sure there is clans available to play with on the week of the 23rd as traditionally things die down a week to 2 weeks before rage?

I think we should keep the prac with BOC on Wed next week. It will be informal and good fun, and serve as a 'warm down' from the league.

Otherwise, the break sounds like a great idea.

I agree 100%. A break would do us a world of good. Especially after this years worth of BF3. Its really been a helluva season guys and for us to be fresh for rAge, we need a break.

I would go as far to say that proposing 5-10 matches before is too many and we’ll be fatigued before rAge.
Rather a few good hussles with the BOCCIES and fine tuning/spit n polish – my 2c.

Ya look i am not committing to any pracs or games for a while.
I might be there I might not.

I have a huge workload, and am feeling a bit burn out with everything i have on my plate.
Removing bf3 commitments for a few weeks is what I need.

I will still organise prac games for the run up to rage, and will be involved from then on again.

For now consider me unavailable.

Yeah - this is good - we have burnout @ the moment.

Plus I have a rage video to finish - it's like cornerstone rage requirements that any practice time would eat into - thats a no-no

- be-gone el evilo practicio
