You guys do realise that the end of May is winter, right? The beach probably isn't going to be so great an idea.

Anyway, I'm not fixated on the idea of Paintball, it was simply a suggestion for something that we could all do together. Of course if there are people that aren't keen, then we'll find something else.

Any other suggestions?

I think we need to work out the Numbers i.e. definitely confirmed coming along for the ride.

Some places/events might be greate with 10 people but not so great with 40. Usually the more people there are the simpler it has to be otherwise you spend half the time just trying to organise everyone.

if we take paintball for example then we organize our own event, with others that can be invited/jion, but they organize their own booking and deposit etc. ??

Paul makes a good point wrt the number of people. From [grrr], I think we have about 15 people so far.

I'm trying to think of an alternative activity for a group this size + extras, but nada so far.

Ja, end of May will most likely = rain and cold, so any or all outdoor activities may be unpleasant. The cold here is very different to the JHB cold, so be prepared, Vaalies. Waterproof and windproof clothing is essential. For those staying at my place, I have secured provisional permission to use both flats, so we will have plenty of space and no need for spooning.
