How bouts we do Comedy Warehouse on Friday night?
For Saturday daytime - I'm thinking Karts sound fun. I'd also do pew-pew lazer quest.

Only thing is, the advertised times for the carting didn't mention Saturday at all. Hopefully they aren't closed on a Saturday (can't see how they would be).
Daz, could you get some more details on this (availability, cost etc.). I reckon that Lazerquest and go karting would make for great daytime activities and set us up nicely for an evening of good food and drink
If we can't do the comedy thing on Friday night, maybe it would be cool just to go into Obs and play pool/drink beer/talk shit for a few hours?

140cc GP Junior karts for the little ones.
Replica of Killarney Race Track.
160cc racing karts with hydraulic brakes and slick tyres.
BLOCK BOOKINGS
A block booking is the same format as the special booking, but all races are 5 laps longer. So each participant gets two 15 lap races and one 20 lap final.
A minimum of 12 drivers is needed for a block booking.
2 Heats each
1 Final - 15 lap races
- 20 lap race ( fastest 6 drivers )

Each player is equipped with a laser "gun" and play takes place in a custom built environment which includes ramps, lighting effects, swirling fog, futuristic music and more.The idea is then to stalk your opponent and tag him by "shooting" at one of the many sensors located on the pack and gun. If however, you are shot first, you lose points and your gun is deactivated for up to 4 seconds.
Play usually takes place as a solo game (every person for himself) or groups playing for domination of the arena.Wearing dark comfortable clothes and shoes should definitely be an advantage.
A game last 35 – 45 minutes with up to 25 players in each session.

All the equipment needed
A briefing on how to play
At the end of the game each player receives an individual score card.

I dunno if we actually need a poll for this, we can quite easily do both. Lazerquest only lasts about half an hour or so, and I can't imagine the karting lasting more than a couple of hours. They are also very nearby each other.
As for the financials, 'm sure we could use some slush fund money to subsidise these events?
