Re: Grand Bazzar Strat
We need to really drop the panic spawning and work on patience .... eg. only one man left on B should NOT engage rather fall back and hide to get more numbers on B - that sort of thing.
but yeah, I think we just need to rethink our squad setup and roles (as illustrated by snakelad) and we'll be a lot stronger on this map

Look loosing B Flag is an issue but you will have to come up with squad based tactic to learn how to capture flags. The point being B squad (3 players) focus on B Flag. If you do not have it then C squad gives support but typically not from the same area, that means you get to attack from two points.
Small things help here. If your assualt squad (B) is wiped but support squad (C) should be near the flag and players can start spawning in from (C). The APC squad needs to use the mobility is has, if you are US and have A & B flags and the RU APC goes down then sure more up to C and the two engineers can try cap it.
Any team with experience who is holding B will never rush out to capture the final flag, rather they will try use the APC team. Also an APC moving in on B is a very nice target for RPG's. There is not much room to manouver at A & C....well A is ok but not great, C is just a nightmare to get in and out of.

As a rule spawning on a flag is not advised if you can help it. Also always ask for permission to spawn on your Squad Leader....I will add some basic communication rules to help smooth out your game.
You do all know that when you spawn on a player you can change the direction you will be looking by moving your mouse when the screen is black?

I for one didn't know that. How exactly does that work?

Your points about the type of players for the type of squads is a good one
In this regard i would say that we have the wrong players in the wrong squads.
Myself, dryman or hubris are probably the best bet for flanking roving assault squad as it suites our style of play.
I would say
Only the team can do this but your best leader should be in B Squad, he needs to be the one calling out what B Squad should be doing. C Squad should be more independent type players. The have to respond to B Squad leaders calls.
The idea here is most teams will throw 4 players at B flag, you will have 5. You have will also have two players to spawn off so dont be scared to jump out of a squad to spawn on another.
Most teams will try 1 Engineer with the APC. Having two means your have more firepower and more repair. If the APC dominates then the engineers can go for A or C flag.
Its really is the best setup to allow for fluidity.

Try tonight when you play. Choose a person to spawn on, there are 2-3 seconds of black screen, just move your mouse as if you were looking 90 degrees or 180 degrees. You will spawn facing that way.
Its the same as the APC gunner. If you turn the turret to the left and jump out you will exit on that side. So if you want to jump out of the turret to repair, look at the rear and exit.

Holy crap, snake, if you contribute nothing else, you have earned our eternal thanks just for this gem...
