- The primary people speaking during matches should be SQUAD LEADERS and COMMANDER. Keep chatter down to a minimum otherwise a communication might get lost. If you have something everyone should know then let your SQUAD LEADER know to tell the COMMANDER.
- Obey COMMANDER and SQUAD LEADERS orders AT ALL times. If you think the SQUAD LEADERS is wrong then let them know instead of doing your own thing but they have the final say. You are their tools nothing more, you are not special
- Before spawning ask your SQUAD LEADERS where you need to spawn, they may want you to spawn on them or somewhere else.
- Tickets win matches!
Wait until the coast is clear before reviving someone. 1 death is better than 1 revive and then 2 deaths
Don’t go lone wolfing, YOU WILL DIE.
Unless told specifically, stick with the squad, you have a better chance of staying alive or getting revived. - Keep our Armour! If our armour spawns and you are the closest person to it then jump in and wait for the armour squad to take it from you. We should rather die with our armour than give it to the opposition
- If a Squad leader needs a specific kit and it is your strongest kit then volunteer to take it. SQUAD LEADERS try learn which kits fit which players to facilitate this.
- You can never spot too much! In open play it can get annoying but in clannies it is crucial COMMANDERs and regular players must spot (using the BF2 comms) enemy and not just shout it out.
- Check your minimap constantly when playing. A basic rule of BF2 for all situations, yes, but too often neglected. Any enemies who have been spotted/are under UAV can be easily pwned or avoided by checking one's minimap, soldiers.
- TeamSpeak is for the Commander and SL's only. Use in-game VoIP for the majority of communications.
- Remember to take screenshots of the scoreboard at the end of each round
Before Clannies
- Make sure BF2, VoIP and TS are in working order well before the clannie
- Read through and understand the strats. Know which squad you're in, what kit you'll be starting with, and what the initial plan of attack is. This includes reserves
After Clannies
- As a matter of etiquette - be gracious both in victory and defeat. Thank the other team for the game, give compliments. Stick around for the team photos if they are going to happen.
- Provide feedback if you have it. If you felt that there was something that helped/hindered the team performance, post about it in the clan board.
This is a summary of general rules that I have extracted for the feedback thread. If you think I have missed something then please post here and I will add it to the list and remove your post.
I want to keep this thread clean and concise so that it is easy to read, remember and implement
