Telkom se ma se binne poes stink soos 'n dood snoek
So, my line has dropped again and isn't showing signs of coming back to life on its own. I am going to check what the procedure is for signing up with WebAfrica as they can't be any worse than the shower of shite that is Telscum. What I dont want to do is switch to WebAfrica and then have them tell me that the problem with the Hellscum line needs to be sorted by me. Anyhow, with the recent developments with Fluffs, we are left with only one reserve (Iggy), so maybe we can check with DoGaming whether or not we can get someone to take my place, and/or Ion's place (if he does leave) in the team register. Not sure how long it takes to switch line providers etc etc etc, so I dont want the team to suffer due to my inavailability. Obviously as soon as the line is back up and working, I will make sure everyone knows.

Ja, it would be a good idea to get at least one more reserve in. I'd also like to check whether Iggy is actually keen to play, I've not seen him on the public servers, in TS, or on the forum since the league went live.
If Iggy isn't all that bothered, then I'd suggest swapping him and Ion out and bringing in Shadey and Daz?
EDIT: Jonny, if it's a line related issue, then moving to WA complete won't make it better. The line is still the same. All that happens is that you complain to WA, and they then chase Telkom to get it resolved. I suggest checking out your router to make sure that it's not part of the problem. At the end of the day, ADSL connection issues come from three possible places:
1. The Line - Telkom would have to resolve this
2. The Router - Try the new one you have to elimiate this as a cause
3. The ISP - Least likely cause - could be esolved by a move to another ISP

Well, let's see what Ion plans to do first. Rather put replacements in for Iggy and I maybe? Not sure when my line will be back, and if it's going to be longer than the next 2 weeks or so, then our tournament will probably be over by then. No use having me on the bench if I can't play... The only other plan would be for me to bring my pc into work on match nights.

Don't see why its so funneh...
Anyhow, I hope DoGaming says yes.
I'll be rebuilding a new system tonight. I want to make sure that it works 100% before committing to be a reserve.
Well, I suppose I could always beg Lep to use his pc if it came down to it. Alternatively, I'll speak to Lep to see if he wants in- I think he's rather over BC2, but miracles do happen.

As I posted in da other thread, my new pc is up & running so I confirm I'm available.
Lep also said he's always willing to play if needed.
