I can't express how great it is to have organised and competent clan leadership! Big ups to you guys! Now if we could only deal with that noob NoMaD and that silly Duck we could rule THE WORLD! hugs

Fucksakes, that Pestilence oke is a clown.

It took remarkable restraint on my part not to tell him that in response to his question. I rate he is stalling so that we can't prep. DNA must pay for this insolence.

Instead of waiting for DnA I am going to list the strats for both Maps, then depending on which one we play we will use that.

Please can everyone be online at 7:00 tonight so that we can have a few practice rounds on the public servers, I think that helped get our eye in.

The team will be the same as against IRF

-========== Laguna Alta ==========-

The strats for both rounds will be the same, get B and C, Defend. The only difference will be that when we start off as Americans (i.e. Base closest to C) we will get A first and then move to B.

Otherwise here are the basics

Alpha
Lee (SL)
j0nny
Hubris
Nomad

Alpha's job will be to secure C and keep it, use the UAV to help out the armour. There are two quads at the spawn so Lee take the quad to C, everyone spawns and Caps the Flag. I suggest everyone play medics except for j0nny to play recon and maybe Lee can come Assault to fuel the motion mines

Bravo
Paul (SL)
Mikey
Murgs
Cr0n0s

Paul and Mikey will be the armour squad, our job will be to hunt and kept their armour out of play. Hopefully if we get both flags we can position ourselves between B and C to provide cover where needed.

Murgs and Cr0n0s your job will be to get and Defend B, however when we are the US, you guys first go to A, to cap, Murgs to take the second quad and Cr0n0s to spawn on him. Try get to the back of the barn though in case their APC comes, you don't want to be in it's line of fire. Mikey and I will join you guys there and we then work our way up to B

Pretty simple? Yip but the key to this is keeping together, the flags are pretty far apart, so once you lose a flag it is difficult to get back, so keep together and revive.

Also we will only have 2 guys defending at B, Alpha squad one of your guys may need to spawn at B occasionally if they are taking heavy fire.

At B a good place to defend is behind the burning/turned over train, lots of cover to nade spam and if a guy goes down it is easy to revive as you are totally covered. So defend from there, clean them out, then recap flag (from white) if necessary.

We must also not defend a flag at the cost of tickets, the general rule is, if you have to re-spawn twice at a flag to defend and you still haven't cleared them out then rather leave it and we mount an attack on an open flag, chances are they have committed their team to that flag, leaving another one open, listen to your SL calls

-========== Port Valdez ==========-

For this map we will also have the same strats for both Rounds. Get the B (the middle flag) and A/C (closest to the base). Once we get these we defend, any attack once you are set up here should be relatively easy to repel.

The only unknown here is the Heli, if they have a good heli team it could throw a serious spanner in the works, they could totally decimate us or they could take out our chopper and allow their team to spawn behind our defense.

So this is where Hurbis and Nomad need to prove themselves, I have seen them on the Public servers and they have skills so we are going to need that.

Alpha
Lee (SL)
j0nny
Hubris
Nomad

If I remember correctly Hubris is the pilot? Anyway Hurbis and Lee spawn, Hubris flies for B and Lee jumps out, Nomad needs to spawn instantly because their chopper should be in range by then even attacking. j0nny spawns on Lee and they cap B and defend.

Bravo
Paul (SL)
Mikey
Murgs
Cr0n0s

Once again Mikey and Paul will be the armour team, we will take the armour from our base and cap the base closest to us, we will then have two armour vehicles , I think it is two tanks and roll up to B to defend.

Murgs and Cr0nos you spawn at how base and take a buggy to B, this is in case Lee doesn't make it there, we will at least have some support.

OK in general, like I said the heli is key, keeping there heli ground will give them no choice except to try come through our defend, make sure the AA at B is pointing to their base, it is extremely effective and can provide great support for our heli team.

Hahaha  DEATH FROM ABOVE! Bloc Party vs. Death From Above 1979 - Luno (Silent Alarm Remixed)

NoMaD is the whirly navigation officer... I just spam the cannon! :ice:

Strat is good - we won't fly the bird anywhere near their base or the third flag at all really.

Mostly we will take down the helo and do bomb runs on tanks inbound. Strafe enamies when there's time for tea...

Our plan is to use the bomb/dart perk combo's (alt fire) for the helo - so it should weaken their only method for assaulting B - tanks.

This map hinges around B - if we don't hold that we have like 10% chance of winning. And don't forget the AT weapon at B - its very pomp.

NoMaD and I will be pubbing this afternoon for those far too keeners ;)
