Since Sheri said I should rather go with someone who confirms availability as she was unsure about whether she could play, I made like a good soldier and followed the head honcho's orders. I know Mykle posted to say he might be able to be on standby, but let's go with the above 8 'definites' for starters and we can see at half time if there are any bench warmers lurking in TS and keen to have a go (I know Voetsek also said he'd be keen if we're still playing when he finishes graft). I'm fine with sitting out either half of the game if there are super subs thirsting for a piece of the action.

Ideally of course, FFL will stick around for more than one map so we can mix and match from the 10 or so interested players we have and all get a chance to beat FFL with the BIGPWN stick in a variety of environments.

EDIT: My brain is malfunctioning from massive sleep deprivation and overworking at the moment, so maybe Megachops can utilise his free time and [S]megalomaniacal tendencies natural leadership abilities to sort out squads. Kit selection and tactics seemed to work best in the league when everyone played their strongest kit and opened their best can of whoopass under direction from 2 Squad Leaders, but this is Rush, so maybe we should work on a foundation of Lee's logic :

Basic strat for RUSH in clannies (from previously seen 12 player rush clannie):

ON DEFENSE: all 12 players central between BOTH MCOMs. Minimizes/reduces the impact of a full team assault on one MCOM

ON ATTACK: Best to throw the entire team at one MCOM as opposed to sending smaller squads to each MCOM

^These ideas subject to Mega's approval/adjustments. Looking forward to it.

SECOND EDIT: Mega, maybe you can check with HB wrt whether the BBH ladies are keen to make their own squad or rather play in mixed squads.

Thanks, Jono, for taking over this. I know I should be doing it, but I am having a lot of RL stuff going on atm.
I announced to a few guys on mumble yesterday why I have been even more scarce.
Dirk and I are finally buying a house. Been kak busy with all the arrangements.
If I'm home in time, I'll be on TS/Mumble as backup. I just can't guarantee I'll be home in time and I do not want to let the team down.

I have given Rush some thought, will look back and see if any maps are mentioned but my idea for attack is Operation Shooting Gallery. Will post more details tomorrow but basically we all open up one side of each MCOM and sit behind cover shooting the snot out of it. Arming first. Need 1 or 2 Engineers to open the buildings and 1 or 2 idiots brave souls to run in and arm.

Sho! They're gonna eat serious dirt! Played a bit on the FFL server tonight and they tend to play very direct in firefights and rarely back-cap. They do however move and work together reasonably well. Shadey just let me know if you would like your posi back
