As you might have gathered from the topic, my online nick is NoMaD, but it often varies between NoMaDza, NoMaD_za, NoMaD86 depending on availablity of cause. There are some fake NoMaDs out there that have the same way of writing their nicks, im sure everyone here can understand my annoyance with those unoriginal clowns.
From a personal aspect, my name is Paul Tate, I matriculated in 2005, I have a degree in invesment management, honours in Financial management from TUKS. Currently job hunting/Battlefielding/taking it easy.

My love of all things computer games started out with my father playing Doom, at that stage i was around 7 years of age. I then graduated to Tie Fighter and then to worms, red alert and fifa world cup 98. My father then got a game call Shadow Warrior, which to my knowledge was one of the first games to incorporate vehicle combat. This was the birth of my obsession with vehicle orientated combat games. My competitive gaming career started out in high school, back in 2000 with my first addiction, Counter-strike 1.5. When battlefield 1942 came out it was a dream come true and i tried to rope as many fiends in as possible, however they were all fixated with CS. I then got stuck into the modern combat BF1942 mod, where i first got hold of a battlefield helicopter. After high school, Battlefield 2 came out and I ended up playing for BFB at rage 2007. This for me was what i was looking forward to, organised squad play where everyone plays as a team instead of lone wolfing it up.
This gets me to why I would like to join Grrr. Recently i have jammed with a few of you and it has only been fun. I enjoy the banter, jokes and laughter and feel that these things add to the enjoyability of a game online and i would very much like to become a regular as a result. I have come to appreciate the South African online gaming community for it is more often than not a collection on genuine awesome people, and i would like to get to know this collection, hopefully one day get together with everyone and have a nice cold one around a braai.
I look forward to hearing the verdict!
