At this stage, there is only one person who is driving up, an that's Denis. However, he won't be coming back to Cape Town until a couple of weeks after rAge, so sending your PC with him will mean that you won't have it back for a while...
Geth and I have been in discussion about doing a road trip again this year. The only thing is that because I tend to work all over the place, it's possible that I may be in JHB the week before/after rage, and therefore won't be wanting to drive up.
What I am prepared to do though, is to commit my car for the rAge trip i.e. If I'm driving, all's well, but if I'm not, someone else can drive it up. This only makes sense if there are three of us wanting to drive (otherwise if I have to drop out of the drive one or both ways it would leave one person in the car by themself).
So, long story short... If you and Geth are both keen to drive up, we can use my car. If not, then everyone's going to have to find their own way up for both themselves and their PCs.
If the car is going up, there should be space for another PC or two, so we would hopefully be able to cart Daz and Jono's PCs with us. I can't guarantee that though, my new car is a little smaller than the Volvo.

Fly, as discussed on TS... I've reserved the 2nd 2-man room. It's not confirmed till half is paid though, R500.00 deposit. Let me know over the weekend please.
She hasn't 'bugged' me yet about payment, but she could give it to someone else if they pay straight away.

Hey guys, I just need to finalise some of the logistics for rAge...
Thanks to all that have paid already, it seems that everyone who has paid has paid their full accommodation cost, meaning that I don’t have to keep track of partial payments.
Sheri, what I need to know is:
1. Is Jackal now definitely out of the planning?
2. If so, what is the final accommodation cost for everyone? Are you able to drop a room, or do we still need them all?
I am still outstanding payments from Jackal (TBC), Fly, and Voetsek. Please can you guys let me know when I can expect your contributions to come in, I need these ASAP so that I can manage the cost of Ferndale as well as other clan costs (e.g. the cost of moving our web hosting to an SA server has been paid, but it likely to leave us short.
Finally, I’d like to make an appeal to everyone to please contribute monthly subs to the slush fund. It’s certainly not compulsory, but at present the primary contributions are coming in from only 5 clan members, and this is covering the costs of server rental, web hosting, rAge extras etc. If you have the means to contribute anything to the cause, it will be greatly appreciated. If you do want to make a monthly contribution, please can I ask that you set it up as a stop order with your bank? That way, you don’t have to remember to do an EFT every month, and because it’s a stop order and not a debit order, you can cancel it at any time.
I’m aware that not everyone has the means to contribute a lot, but considering the benefits that we all get, I’d hope that we’d all try and make a sacrifice to give something towards it, however small that donation may be.

AFAIK shadey cancelled the other room, and i am sleeping on the sleeper couch, i wiill contact shadey and ask her how much i must pay, thanks for the reminder drags. (IE - i dont know if there IS more room, maybe grav and i can share
