I'll ask him to confirm when he gets home, Daz.

I'm a bit worried bout the 3, 3, 2 man squads. Being in that 2 man squad is quite difficult... if you come across the enemy in numbers, you're dead.
The only way it would work is if the 2 man squad stays away from the main fight and acts as defense or runs with another 3 man squad.

Excellent first round guys. To pull back from 40 tickets down to take a victory is awesome but we still have one more round in order to get our first win of the leg. (We need to make sure we have two hours to play in the future)

Just two things I would like to point out, as I said I felt there were times when we concentrated too much on B instead of going around to C and drawing them out. If we are bleeding tickets at B then rather let 1 squad defend the "home" and the other ninja with the quad bike. I don't think there was a time when we ninja'd that we didn't get their back flag. So Ninja around, once we have their flag, immediately hit B.

When we did have B I felt we were defending from the back instead of as murgs suggested once to defend in front of the flag to cut off their attack. They could too easily get behind the top B building to launch their attack. They shouldn't even get that far.

Personally I think the defending of OUTSIDE the capping area of B - using the Staircases - worked far better than huddling around the buildings where the enemies generally threw nades. IE. we were in better cover and had less to worry about and made it easier to revive since we were purdy much out of direct enemy line of fire.

More of the same, more of the same, redundantly

Epic game guys. They were not a push over team and we controlled the Map for almost the entire round.

Good squad inter play and communication. Medic did a great job again.

Just to add, even though we played very well e.g. we gelled nicely, we communicated well a.k.a I kepts quiet etc we can still improve on a few things.

- Medics did an outstanding job but there were a couple of times when I would get revived during battle and die instantly. Either clear the area out and then revive or hide and act as a spawn point. No use in reviving just so the guy gets killed again and possibly getting killed yourself. Chances are, especially on a one on one situation I would have got at least a couple shots into the guy so the medic should be able to finish them off.

- Although it was minimal and one of the reasons why we won, we still need to work on sticking together as a squad or army. Unless you are Ninja-ring or on a specific task you should always be within 10-20m of your squad.

- We need to stick to our names to get better direction, broken building near B isn't very accurate when there are 3 broken buildings around B. We need to get into the habit of maybe jumping onto our server 30 mins before the match and running through the names again. I feel that helped us a lot previously.

I hope this doesn't come across as negative because a really beleive that we played well, we beat them and not "they played" badly so we won.

I can be blunt when we are not doing so well, but last night... what a pleasure it was to play with you guys.

The medic reviving was great. I had the confidence to stick my head out in the face of two or three enemies and try get one kill, knowing I would be revived and that they wouldn't as they were spread out, so if I could just get one kill, we'd be another ticket ahead.

And the commanding was well done too, as we never ended up without a flag and they even didn't own a flag at least once.

TS communication was good too. Did telkom drop Pauls adsl line or something?

Well done everyone. After what we have been through, our performance last night gave us finally a well deserved win. Enjoy it.
