Dang, I've got a farewell diner for my brother tonight at 6pm - away from home (going back to Australia)
Again, for my sister tomorrow night at my place at 7pm - emigrating to Australia

So I doubt I will make it to the madness/fun - but don't let that stop y'all from doing it.

Go have some fun mkay?

First night, 8pm... only four of us. Can't really practice squad work with only 4. There were also two grrr's online who did not join us on ts. So that would of made six of us.

Lord_Vader and Chronos... pls join us on ts when you play BC2. Jackal-GI as well pls.

(Lord Vader = Jackal GI, murgs).

wrt Squad deathmatch training: I dont enjoy this form of the game as it usually results in 75% of players using assault kits with n00b t00bs, and playing on small maps with a dozen 40mm users frustrates the living hell out of me. Repeated death by 40mm and nade spam detracts from any practice value I might otherwise experience. I will try my best to make pracs and stay positive, but I suspect future rage quits may result from my participation.

I tend to agree with Jonno on this one too. Why don't we play "squad deathmatch" on our normal conquest maps. Both teams agree that we will fight for "A" or "B" or "C" or whatever. That way, not only do you learn the map, you also learn to think how your buddy will react on that map, in that situation in a real game.

just my 2 cents.

Saying all that, I can't wait to get back in front of my PC... will join you all on either server on Monday!

After our first nights experiance, I spoke to Dragonne and we think that playing 4 vs 4 squad rush would probably be a better mode, than squad deathmatch. Reason being, squad deathmatch is rather random, and with squad rush, each squad as a goal and therefore and work together to achieve it. This will hopefully bind us as squads tighter together when we have a goal.

MUCH better idea. Sorry for my absence this week - between work, concerts, dinners and coming down with a cold, I havent had much time. Will be on the lookout for practices this weekend.
