It seems, from what the guys on SGS are saying (http://games.saix.net/cgi-bin/sgsbb/ikonboard.cgi?s=a4ce5deaa3041b4d1b6a44909dbec3f4;act=ST;f=349;t=67507), that PRoCon is a better admin tool than Guardian.

Personally I have no idea. It's been a long time since I've used any server admin tools, either way I'm going to have to learn how to use them again.

Hope I can post this here

While we are waiting for SGS to setup the clan servers for Bad Company 2 we want to take this opportunity to make ESWAT Clan Server 2 South Africa available for teams to start playing clannies and practice their strats.

To keep things simple I think for now that only the Captains that have registered their teams in the Do Gaming BF:BC2 League 2010 can contact me so that I can give you basic admin rights on the server. Also download PFBC2 ProCon to admin the server.

Take a look at the schedule to see when the server is available so that you can contact me if you want to reserve a slot.

Teams must book to use the server and can only use it in the allocated time slot. Let us give it a go and see how everything works out

Please note that we are having power failure problems and if that happens then admin the system might be down. Also keep in mind that I am not a BFBC2 server expert and it might take me a bit longer to sort things out

You can get me on xfire = kougom or find me in the #eswat channel on mirc if you have any other queries

Accounding to Hypegamez, Punkbuster has been disabled because of previously reported problems and stability issues, but it can be enabled on request. I'm pretty sure that we'll want to enable Punkbuster, particularly for ranked mode public server operation, but if it has stability issues it may be owrthwhile leaving it off for now while we are practicing? - Fly that doesn't mean you can bring you haz along to prac

I'll PM for the full email along with admin passwords to the admin team and Mega. Perhaps those of you who don'e have work today (looks at Mega and Odi), can have a play with the admin tools and see if you can get us setup for a proper prac tonight?

I will looks at the admin tools and see if I can make em werrik.

OK server is up, joined in a game and ran around. Ping 200-230 from CT.
Both admin tools work, guess its a question of preference.

- What game type/settings do we want for the prac? Squad Rush?
(I have taken off Kill Cam and Team balance so long, not that Team balance works in BC2. Also enabled Team Damage.)
