DBN activities

Post by Thor_23 »

OK so we need to pile a list of activities for everyone going to DBN. Seeing as with the current numbers we wont be paying any accommodation, the fund might cover some of this.

1. First and obvious option is the beach. Walking distance, and doesn't cost any cash
2. UShaka marine world. Entrance fee isn't insane and there is a couple of things to see and do. Bearing in mind that you will prolly pay for any rides etc.

There is a zip line tour 1 hour form DBN (This is expensive though(bout R600 pp) and wont put it on the list unless everyone is keen) Might have to pay on your own.

Lets see what else is there we can pile and then poll to see what everyone wants to do?

Lee, maybe you have some nice places/ideas as a local?

-- You pay for access to the Park and then do what you like, no additional fees, this is Deben :)
-- Ive done this a few times with the kids, it's monumentally epic fun

For a Beach day, I'd recommend the North beach stretch - there are a lot of restaurants and it's a well developed area - very cool if you have a skateboard etc. can pack this into the uShaka day.

I'll find some more to add, there are a lot of other things around, but the best ones (and not expensive) must be found....so i'll update soon

I've only been wrong once, and that's when I thought I was wrong.

A restaurant recommendation is Surf Riders Food Shack. Nice chill vibe, sea view and they even have a protein smoothie for Ion. :P
It's on the promenade - walking distance from UShaka Marine World.
