A happy new year to all. And I truly hope that this will be an awesome year for the clan (and for yourself
).Unfortunately I need to address 2 issues this early in the year regarding the clan.
1. The recent WhatsApp discussions upsetting people.
So, we don’t have an official usage policy or something similar regarding the usage of the WhatsApp Group/Social Media and the content that is posted there. That being said. As this is a Clan, we won’t be getting one either. However, I really feel we need to try and be cognizant of other clan member’s feelings and when someone is getting upset. If it was an isolated case, that would have been different. But it’s not, so clearly we are doing something wrong. This clan was founded on good humour and banter, and we should keep on doing exactly that within acceptable means. This is like having a friend that hates “your mama” jokes(Bad example). We can still take the piss out of each other, but when that friend is present, maybe try and tone down on these particular jokes? Also, it’s better if the banter stays within the clan. Let’s try and keep these types of things only on the clan WhatsApp/ and outside the public domain.
To quote the READ HERE FIRST page:
” Respect - We joke and insult each other but we maintain a respect for other players and the game itself.”
So in summary. Freedom of speech FTW. But let’s consider each other when bantering/talking smack/taking the piss? Sorry in advance if I have been guilty of this
PS. If someone is having a rough patch. You can’t be angry at someone for giving you shit during this time, if they are not aware? So let’s talk to each other like the big family we are?
2. Slush Fund Contributions
Yes I have to be that guy. So although we have people who regularly contribute, there has also been a lot of people who hasn’t. Please refer to the below thread regarding contributions if you are new:

We will be doing a recon of member contributions in the coming week (So please watch this space). I ask that everyone please get their contributions up to date (Would be awesome if this is done before we do the recon)? The money is after all used for clan activities and will greatly help to get Grrrage back to Heatherdale this year. Also, it’s only fair to the people that do contribute regularly that everyone else also do their part
