Thanks a lot guys, this support means a lot to me. I don't hold control of the purse strings though. Assuming that this is acceptable to the rest of the clan that contributes towards the slush fund, I'll accept the help offered, but it does need to be everyone's decision.

I was thinking that the cheapest solution would be to drive up to Jozi. Assuming that Jono and Stu (I think that they are the only confirmed Capies at this stage) are happy to do the road trip, a fuels subsidy from the fund would be able to get us all up there (I'm happy to take my car). I reckon we'd be looking at about R3500 worth of fuel, which is less than flight tickets for three people.

Otherwise, I can look at flight costs and let you know, so that you can decide whether or not its affordable.

Incidentally, the slush fund currently holds R15,146.03. So we're looking fairly healthy at the moment :)
