Incoming standard H00B wall of text!

Good post QB and I think this debate has been long overdue. Membership fees are an important issue and unfortunately we do need to be stricter about them. I myself have fallen into a lapse and it's easy to do so. Let's all get those fees paid and do our bit for the Grrr cause. Think about it guys, your R50 per month will pay for a server, get a guy to rage or even keep him gaming when his components die. It's totally worth it and everyone benefits.

if Jarrod needs a membership fee hound I am happy to be that guy.

As for clan cohesion... We expanded with new members pretty quick and some of them have really taken up the mantle and been good additions. While others havnt really felt engaged and kind of stayed on the fringes. I don't think we should boot anyone if we can help it but it may be time for some gentle persuasion and encouragement to get everyone on the same page. Grrr is all about social events, if you don't attend that's a big disappointment to us all.

Obviously having our core game ripped away from us is a big blow and we can't underestimate the effect that has on us. This clan was built on Battlefield. But time waits for no man and we must now move on and evolve with the times. In my eyes we have the solutions we just need to implement. We look for a free to play that everyone can get tomorrow and play together on our clan gaming night and we start looking to reorganize the way we do things.

Most clans these days are multi game organizations, taking teams from DOTA and CS and pretty much anything you can think of and rolling them all up together under the same banner. It can be done with us too, we just need to keep everyone aligned to the Grrr values and supporting each other in whatever we decide to play. Regular reports from the teams on the forums and some effort to spend time with each other is extremely important.

/support you guys we can do this! It's not about the fogies getting with the times and it's not about the laaities getting with the program either. It's about us all coming together again and reforging our identity anew.

(I stuffed the annual fees in R10 notes in Jarrod's mankini before this RAGE, he'll find them next summer)

Apologies for my general disappearance in the last year or so - been a pretty rough one tbh. Since I'm still alive I've put a year's worth into the slush fund :)
The box said to use Windows 98 or better, so I used Linux

Hi all,

Just a quick update on payments received.

Thanks to all that have deposited cash into the fund, a lot of people dropped in R600+ to cover themselves for the next year. I guess that indicates that people in general can afford the contribution. Remember as well that R50 pm is a minimum, every little that people add on top of that will help.

On to the bad news. The following individuals have made no contribution at all since the rule change (or asked to be excused from payment for financial reasons). According the the new membership rules, they will lose membership if we don't hear from them by the middle of next month:

- baselineac
- BigBadBarts
- BU5T3R
- Cold_razer
- dirtypora
- duiwel
- Ecko7
- Giftig
- @gr@vity
- janpan
- Jackal-GI
- kalgat
- Kill_Inc
- L3pr3c4un
- NoMaD
- pmurgs
- Scorpyon
- Skouperd
- Stu

That's 19 members that we could lose :( . I know that a lot of these are long term inactive members, but there are a few names on the list that surprised me.
