Good day Lads/Ladies,

Path of exile is what Diablo 3 should of been. it is extremely fun and addictive to create your own character.

This game was made by the guys that made Diablo 2 and left blizzard to start POE.

So here is the just, I made my own tech tree, which i am following. it took me a total of 30mins planning this during working hours makes me extremely happy.

The fact that someone that isn't me has made a thread about another game makes me f*cking squeel! GG Grant.

I have been playing it on and off since it was in closed beta actually. Great game, easy to pickup, monstrously difficult to master. Also, more hardcore than Diablo. If you build your character to be able to use ranged weapons and 1 handed swords and shields and spells, after 3 hours, you'll realise you can't do any of those well enough and will have to reroll. Jack of all trades, master of none applies.

Best advice is to do a tad bit of research (like you would any RPG) to figure out what type of character you want, find an existing build (or make your own like Grant) and stick to it.

Game is a 3.8GB download on Steam.

I think you'll find that Grant was the guy that persuaded me (and Morph) to buy Wildstar, and then promptly quit playing it a few weeks later...

PoE looks good, but I just didn't gel well with it unfortunately. In particular I found the view to be a little bit too zoomed in for comfort.

That said, if there are a bunch of Grrrbians playing, I'll be happy to give it another try.

Listen, wildstar was awesome, the only issue was the community of kids...and look at it now...they have dropped down to one server because it was a flop.

POE is free, and that camera issue you had has been fixed, so bleh!

I can support you 50% on the Skill Tree .... It is unique and awesome, but at the same time... if you don't follow the correct line, your character will not be optimal, so there really is not pick and choose when it comes to your skill tree.

How have they fixed the camera?
- Last I played the ranged mobs could attack you from out of screen.

Plus... the graphics leave something wanting

The Camera is fixed.

The graphics are amazing, have you ever zoomed in? the reason they like that from afar is because they so intense [MENTION=292]Morphza[/MENTION]
