EverQuest Next looks amazing too. Free-2-play too.
Which ever direction anyone Goes in WRT MMO's it helps to get everyone onboard rather than just a handful.

I must say though, it's a purdy tidy looking MMO

Wildstar is coming closer to release with lots of beta weekends.

Please give it a try lads. I don't speak highly of games any more but this one has caught my attention, I trust you to download load it and give it a try.
The story line is amazing.
It is not a tab system fighting style, more of a FPS.

you can obtain a key here:

Certainly looks good. I'll definitely give it a go on release. By hen I should have hit level cap on SWTOR, and will probably be ready to move on.

You guys really should try this out. Its a different spin on the familiar MMO genre.

Yes, the final game will have a subscription fee, but at least give the free open beta a shot :)

PLayed the beta over the last week and got hooked. It's an MMO, but far more interactive than the endless skills cycle that other MMOs work on. SWTOR pales in comparison with it's old school (WOW-clone) gameplay, once I got used to the idea of having a lightsaber, the fun drained out pretty quickly :( . Graphical style is awesome too, very pretty animated look but high quality.

So I've pre-ordered, will be hitting it hard from launch. I know it's pricey, but this looks worth it IMO. If you're undecided, have a look at the DevSpeak video series, they talk through a lot of the features of the game: http://www.wildstar-online.com/en/media/videos/devspeak/

Grant, what server will you and your guild be rolling? I assume you're continuing with Dominion? I'm keen to get hooked up!!

Played a couple closed beta sessions and it has potential... I'm willing to give it a go to see what the 'playing with friends' and the guild mechanics add to the game.

Grant... Drop us the guild details.

Hey,

I will only know the server on release.

The guild is going dominion...so prepare to be evil.

I am totally hooked to the game, as you all know.

The reason behind it, is you dont have a set rotation for any thing. as ever NPC or boss is different and skills will need to be changed. The bosses in raids cant not be learnt as their mechanics vary.

I like the skill shot methos instead of the wow and Starwars tabbing system.

The humor is great and the story line is intense and this is what caught me. If you read the books and get into the story it becomes very cool.

For some odd reason I have always been a melee junkie but im hooked onto the epser class.

The Devspeak is very cool and they listen to the community of hardcore players that want a challenge. I read one post where some kids were saying the the dungeons are tooooo hard and the Developers said well other groups have completed it and if you dont like it FUCK OFF.

I like the sims feel to your house and guild warplots. PVP is also intense.

Ping is not an issue for all the time i have put it I dont really notice a delay. It was the same when I played TITANFALL. the coding is brilliant.

so R150 a month for all this shit in one game sounds not to bad.
