Teamspeak 3
Re: Teamspeak 3
For us to use it, we'll need a hosted server. I dunno if/when SGS will host it (I can't access SGS site at the moment, so can't read your link), but I know that WAGE are testing it out at the moment. Once it's working properly I'll see if I can get us a clan channel for testing.
From what I've heard, TS3 is a lot better than TS2. The lag issues with voice have apparently been addressed.

Re: Teamspeak 3
SGS (or rather AGASA) have a server, if you have an AGASA account then you can log on and make a channel.
This is from Tetra

DoGaming has just finished working on getting its TeamSpeak 3 server up and running. Its free to use and has loads of great features to add onto TS2.
Provided you have a DoGaming or AGASA account, you can link your profile and create a channel at:
http://gaming.do.co.za/portal/teamspeak/
TS3 can be downloaded from:
http://www.teamspeak.com/ (any version over beta6 is fine)
If you have trouble connecting (after linking your profile), check your firewall is allowing the TeamSpeak 3 exe. I had some trouble on Win7 using the 64bit executable (ended up adding the exception manually).
Enjoy

Re: Teamspeak 3
Well, I've created a Channel:
(named and passworded accorning to what characters they allow)
Channel: grrr
Password: groan
* Note, during the setup, I was told the IP address was 196.25.210.14 on port 9999
This is wrong, the correct one is
196.25.210.10 on port 9999
