Practise tonight at 8pm

We are going to do battle again but this time it will be a bit more controlled. I want to create to armour squads to battle each other

E.g. Armour + Rep monkey with 2 free roaming punks.

Let me know if you think/want to be the driver so we can test you out, I don't want to call this trials but that what it really is. After tonight we will have a better idea of who will be in the infantry and who will be in the armour Squad

Thanks to everyone that made it, just some comments

* Who was the opposition armour driver? Was it Always Irish? It seemed like he killed me most of the time. I definitely think we should try you out as the armour drive in a clan match. I liked how you actually hung back and supported instead of engaging

* Fire thanks for trying out the spanner monkey roll, it is more difficult than most people realise, gunner, repair, rocket, check baddies around. You basically have to cycle through a checklist of things just to keep the tank up.

* Comms - I don't know how the other squads comms were but I thought our we pretty good, clear and concise. Only think missing is naming. I will see what I can do to put some names to the map areas. For example on the C flag on Zavod there are 2 sets of stairs so when we said baddies at stair it was was not to clear. This is something though we can easily work on. I will see if I can get the international or common names and not make our own, it will also help when you are in PICK UPS

* Lastly, this will take time but we need to work on this big time and I will be calling people out on it. We need to run together, to often there were guys going on their own with out a buddy so there was no reviving happening. This is fine when we play teams that we can easily out gun but when we play teams that match or better our own skill then team work plays a massive role.

Some players naturally lead and others like to follow, try figure this out quickly. For Example Nimbzy is a natural leader, he know where the fight should or shouldn't be happening and adjusts from there. If you are a followers then just stick with him, don't wait for orders just trail him by 5 - 10 m either left or right. This will make sure there are always to people. If he goes down then you take the guy down and res, simple in theory, difficult in practise.

No prob Paul, like I said if no one else is keen I'll still work on it and do it. Will get better with practice.

Preferably I think the roaming around and covering the tank would be fun as well, anything where I can come in from the side. Heh heh heh.

But I'll play anywhere I'm needed!

OK well here are some spanner monkey tips that I have learnt over the years

1. When you exit the gunner seat, first point the gun in the direction you want to exit and then press E, so if the tank is taking fire from the front you do a 180 and you climb out the back

2. Unless engaging the enemy the gunner should never be facing in the same direction as the main gun, this provides more cover for the tank.

3. Always have proximity loaded as your vehicle perk so mines, slam and C4 fuckers can be spotted. You still need to spam Q though to spot mines and slams

4. Repair - Unless the tank driver says otherwise it is alway best to repair when the health is below 75%, 2 RPG's will take a tank down that is at 75%. Make sure you check your 6 though before repairing, you don't want to get killed as soon as you jump out.

5. Try take shots with your RPG/SRAW inbetween repairing to help out the tank.

6. Scream - More tank drives than not will drive away from you move so that you are in the open while repairing, you need to keep them inline and tell them not to move or to hold up. Although a stationary tank is a target to be prepared to move and repair
