BF4 Server Admin

I've watched the many attempts that Hubris has put in, as well as the silence or lack of response he has received in return

It honestly feels as if the clan is exploding from the inside, there is no real direction.... no-one really taking charge of the team (until the last second, thanks Paul)
ie. what game are we focusing on?

We are a collection of lost gamers that only manage to play on the same game, same server... by chance!
I fear that either things need to change, or we are going to get more of these type of messages

This problem is that BF has always been this clans main game and when that abortion called BF4 came out it threw everyone for a wobbly.

Speaking personally, when I played BF4 I would play for 20 minutes get pissed off and rage quit. So then I got into the habit know I would only be on for 20 minutes of jumping on the first server with players and not joining TS.


Now that it is "improving" I am joing on Clanmates even if it means I need to wait in a queue and I join TS. I think with the DGL starting the people in the team will be playing together and this will hopefully suck everyone else in.

Got to admit, since the departure of Hubris the vibe it's the same anymore, he was the pillar, not to take anything away from Dry, Eggy but having no Admin isn't helping, saying "if you guys need anything I'll see what could be done". Hardly see our server full as it was when Hubris ran with things, and don't get me wrong, he didn't do it to get any medal or gratification, just because he loved the game.

The fact that the clans senior players aren't involved as in the past also putting a damper on affairs. We know everyone has a life outside gaming, but have to say without some commitment and hard words people are going to come and go as they please.

Someone will have to take the responsibility and carry on where Hubris left, the game is ever changing and the clan needs guidance else this year is going to be a sad and painful experience.

Now to the new guys, please don't feel left out, if you feel you have something to offer this clan, give your input, there's a good reason why you got voted into the clan, some of you have been involved with clans for a long time, so step up and talk !!!

What I like to know, can't we give more guys server admin rights, the guys that's on every night, like Russian, Irish for example if they up to it, just a question.

I dunno why Jack, but I get a sense that people think I'd abuse admin rights.

Well I haven't touched the admin console after Hubris told us that all was running auto and that we shouldn't give in to everyone's demands. (which I agree)
So I'm not even sure if my procon settings are still 100% or if they added plugins and changed anything? I'm sure Dry would know whats cooking at the moment.
But other than that, I've been without a PC for a few days now because of a faulty MB that still has to come back from the supplier.

So yesterday Godlike and I were playing some BF, I bunked work and played a bit in the morning. Anyway he ask if we could change our server to conquest small, the same as DGL.

I said that the DGL rules would discourage people from playing but he said no just the make, the rest of the config would stay the same.

So what do you guys think? The server has been quiet lately and I think it is easier to get the server started with conquest small maps.

Maybe we should have like 3 or 4 conquest small maps to start before the rest of the rotation kicks in. Operation Locker with 4 or 5 people per team is a lot more fun than Conquest Large
