Ok so I finally got round to doing a system clean up and whot not. But I have a problem and I am hoping some techies could help
I have 1 x IDE (120GB) that I have put a fresh install of Windows XP on.
I also have 2 x SATA 250GB drives I got from Jarrod. Now I wanted to put them in RAID 0 and chuck all my programs onto this (for like speed and what not). When they are just normal SATA, then windows detects them fine. I created a RAID 0 volume (at first just in the BIOS and config) and then again using Intel Matrix Storage Console (after removing all RAID volumes)
Noq the problem is Windows doesn't pick these two up as drives, I can't access them or install anything. I have spent about 5 hours and I am no where.
Any help please

Re: RAID
Ok well you guys are of no use! But because I am awesome I figured it out.
Pretty simle really, you just need to go to disk management and tune windows "Yo boet, I gots another HDD, check it out. Call i t D: or something, I don't care"
"Ok schweet, like format it and we are done"
And then bamn!!! I have 494GB of goodness

Re: RAID
Straight up Windows XP (32bit)
Basically I downloaded ntel Matrix Storage Console because it had the RAID controller drivers i needed, if I already had it I think I would have been able to create the RAID volume in the BIOS first time. That took me about 4 hours to figure out only after a long while did I find some random little thread mentioning the Disk Management portion
