Clan server for BF4

Hey guys, just an update on the server situation.

I got notified a couple of days ago that my Credit Card had been debited for R5625.95, as an auto renewal of our subscription for a 44 player BF4 server. Given that I don't really want to shell out that kind of cash, I had a quick chat with QB concerning our need for a BF4 server. As we haven't been using it, and our uncertainty as to playing BF4 next year, we agreed that I would cancel the server subscription.

I have contacted Gameservers and arranged for a refund of the rental. If there is a requirement for a clan server for the coming year, please let me know, as well as how we intend to pay for it. I'm always happy to use my Credit Card for payments, but we'd obviously need to have sufficient funds in the slushy to refund me.

I suggest we wait and see what next years competition brings before we invest in a private server for practicing. Who knows, we might be playing CODAW next year.

agreed - no need for the server - totally underutilized - and they're easy enough to grab a new one whenever it is necessary
