Nightglaze

Post by NiteShade »

Hello everyone.

I wanted to write in regards to Nightglaze's application... I know that most of you do not know him well. Even, myself, I only played COD with him a couple of times and met him for the first time yesterday at the LAN in Witbank. Therefore, I know it is hard to cast a vote without knowing someone first. The problem here is that Nightglaze does not play BF2 and most of [grrr] does not play COD4.

With trying to get COD going, Jarrod has allowed for me to recruit members. However, I still would like everyone's opinion on having Nightglaze (aka Rico) join since we are a family afterall. :)

From meeting him yesterday, he's a good guy. Great sense of humour, isn't full of shit (mature) and has a general love for gaming. He'd make a great addition to our CoD4 team and [grrr] as a whole. I really do think he'd fit in quite nicely.

If there are no major objections, I'd like to let him know his application was successful and he's a [grrr].

My feelings are that we give him access to COD boards and get him involved with clannies, pracs and on the shoutbox and if things go well over the next few weeks let him join. I get your point about not having a chance to get to know him but I would like to see him involved and an enthusiastic player on the COD team for a while before handing out membership. If I were making the decision I would get him in as a regular merc for now.

This is a toughy... with me be-ing offline now for a while , and the team needing a player i would say YES , but the other posts here are also true.

I havta say give him a spot as a merc , or even a bit more as most likely he will be playing a lot , and that will then give him the "grrr-exposure" he needs...

After meeting him Saturday , i havta agree with Shadi , he is a realy nice person , and im also sure he will fit-in with grrr...

hey nite,

Thanks for the effort. Don't ask me why but I am leaning more towards the opinions of MegaBreath and Fucktard, aka Candi. I would rather that the new applicant be given access to certain limited forums and allow us to get to know him.

Then we can officially introduce him into the fold. I also agree he should go through the process of answering our arbitrary questions.

Although all the members do not play CoD they can get to know him in the shout box.

I have no objection to him joining us with respect to clan games. But there is a certain protocol when it comes to donning [grrr] tags and we should see this process through as much as possible.

Relates directly to Phatso, Merc status 1st, then grilled through the application guantlet and eventual acceptance if he doesnt pull a bloed_lus.

IE. Business as usual, at least that's the way I would have done it, back in the Golden Era . . . good times, good times

Cool, I agree with you all. I've given Nightglaze access to the COD Clannie board only.
I've told him he can play COD for grrr (merc) until his application process is successful/unsuccessful.
He totally understands.
