Yup I must say I'm not 100% sure on the teams, but I think the below is a good start. If you think I should think a little bit more about the teams let me know why! Make it snappy though, I'm entering the teams tonight.
Remember I'm puttin the teams down based on pairings, one aggressive and one cautious player. We can discuss the partnerships and the skill mix, but I need good solid game reasons to revise (not just I don't like this guy or something like that).
Baggers:
Tyger
Hubris
DryMan
Paul
Nuts:
NoMaD
Russian
Cronos
Mikey
Reserves:
J0nny (Baggers)
Icenflame (Nuts)
Badass (Nuts)
NoMaD and Russian have really performed well in the squad rush practices and I would really like to include them in the Baggers team but I'm not sure how exactly I could do that. I think both have the potential to play 8v8 next year with the Baggers and I'd like to see how they handle a leadership role.
If NoMaD accepts, I want him to captain the Nuts and use Russian as his vice, just like how Tyger and I share decision making and duties in the Baggers. Ultimately it's down to the players in that team so if you have alternative ideas please propose your preferred captain. Once appointed its up to the leadership to split duties and make the relationship work.
Dont worry about the administrative side of things, I'll show you the ropes and support you for the first few games.
Its really hard to decide who makes what team and who sits as reserve. I'd really like the Nuts to consider mixing up their line up depending on who their opponent is and who is available to play so everyone gets a go. Badass is coming on well as a clan player and needs game time to grow, but Ice has kids to worry about so I think the Nuts might have a little more difficulty with availability and two reserves is probably appropriate.

Well that's what I'm afraid of. Although you get points from taking mcoms, doing well is really going to depend on whether you have a safe spawn and whether you can shut other teams out of a plant. Tyger and I are both pretty aggressive, but I'm happy to play a supporting role to him. If Dry and Nom played together they would definitely do well but I'm concearned if one of them went down the other would as well - both of them have the same playstyle. Anyway ya good feedback it's definitely something to consider. Paul would also make a good CPT for the Nuts.

Awesome selection there Hubris! I think you've put our best troops forward for this compo! I'm happy to reserve for the nuts team as stated, with fam commitments etc at this stage!
Rock on! I will still make myself available for practices if ppl are not available.
The skill that I'm picking up from playing with Nom, Dry, Tyger and yourself including the other is brilliant! really enjoying the learning curb!

I think you're right Rus, we will definitely have interesting practices. I know you and Nom are good players but you will need more than talent to win matches in the tourni. I know it's intended as more of a have fun side but you will need discipline and teamwork to win against other clans, believe me this tourni will not be a walk over and we shouldn't be making any judgements based on the practices. We should try get a friendly this Sunday for both teams as I think that will be the real test. Chat more soon.
