Staff Meeting
Nice comments guys, it's good to see that clearer heads are now prevailing. For myself, I apologise for being so reactionary yesterday - Steff I know that you are trying to push things forward, and that your outburts are as a result of the passion that you feel for getting grrr a competitive team. Please know that I'm not trying to stand in the way of that goal, the only obstacle that I've thrown up is that I wanted a referendum just to be sure that the clan majority was comfortable with the approach that you want to take.
Also, you will get my support with the recruitment process, in whatever way that you feel I can contribute. Clearly I'm not a committed regular BF3 player, so I'm not likely to be in Mumble vetting the new players as much as the active BF3 players will be. I will however make an effort to join in when there are new names in the BF3 channel - it's as much in my interest to meet and get to know the potential new recruits as it is for you. If I couldn't be bothered to get involved in the interview process, I'd have no right to complain about new members being admitted.
Good luck with the recruitment drive, I hope that you manage to identify and attract a few good players that can carry the good name of grrr forward.
@Duck - Love the idea of the prospect tags. Not entirely convinced with [grri], but TBH I can't think of anything better. I'd probably go with [meow] as a kind of 'baby-grrr', but then it doesn't bear any resemblance to our real tags so probably wouldn't work.

For sure Drag I don't hold hard feelings, we're all trying to play a role in this organisation and we're all passionate about it so there will be conflict over issues but ya I don't think that anyone should lose their shit, so Tyger is right lets just all kick back and chill out. There is no need for pressure and no need for outbursts, we can handle this.
yeah [grr_] is a good one i like that, very good Mr. Lee you are on form today. Missing the final r is very descriptive of what we're trying to achieve with "candidates". Maybe we can think of a nice story/image to throw along with that so its easily communicated and get them excited about chasing for membership.

I've been hard at work trying to create a 3d model of our [grrr]Squad logo.
I'm no expert at 3d, so it's taking a while, a long hard slog until i get a nice one done.
(learning as i go along - as per usual)
I'll then create some sort of animation with it that we can use with our [grrr]Squad Youtube videos as an intro.
