Ya that other jacket is not nice.
Honestly i dont think we should rush on this. Lets rather get what we want rather than getting something that we dont like.
As for the Big logo v minamilisim.
I here what you saying baout this being for grrr, so branding is important, and as we add patches the thing will get full of them.
Well yes and no.
A small minamilistic design can be just as effective as a large one.
If we gonna go with the big one on the back, then i would preffer a pure Logo, such as the one here on the website here at the top.
Also bear in mind hey, the jacket we chose had a hood so that would be hanging over the back most of the time.
To my mind a better more classy thing would be a small logo with name on left front chest pocket area, and possible another small, just logo with out the name on the back right shoulder blade.
This is a clean, more minimalistic aproach.
If then we make the add on patches, small they wont clutter it to much, aslo there is always the option of sewing the pacthes on the inside if the person so chooses.

One of the purposes of having clan t-shirts and clothing is so that we feel part of the grrr family and so that people can see that we are a group. Suggesting we get a jacket for the majority and making others wait is not an option imo. If we couldn't get the same style jacket in the larger sizes at a later stage, it wouldnt be a 'uniform'. We don't have to rush any of this in time for Rage tbh. Sure, it would be cool to all be there this year in awesome new jackets, but it shouldn't be our primary focus. We need to get the same jacket in all the correct sizes for everyone in the clan first, and progress from there.

From the darkness you must fall
Failed and weak, to darkness all.
Fly has accepted going with an XL jacket, so we're down to issues on one person not getting something in their size. TBH, Denis will be an issue getting a jacket for regardless of when and where we buy from. He even posted a thread here himself a few months back asking for ideas for jackets in his size.
I think we should go ahead now, with the original jacket style. Of course I'm sorry that Denis can't get one, but waiting and looking around isn't going to solve the problem, because we'll have this issue whatever jacket we go for.
Jess has sourced us a jacket that suits our requirements, we're getting it at a very good price (retail on the jackets is R1700, we're getting them for R600).
One thing that I'm pretty sure of - if we drop this offer now, I doubt that we'll ever get jackets. It's a helluva lot of work putting this stuff together, and I doubt that we'll ever reach a perfect scenario.
Obviously we must go with majority opinion on this, but before we make a decision to delay and find something else, who's going to volunteer to take ownership on sourcing jackets for everyone?
Damn guys, we've found a style that everyone likes, at a price that we can all afford. Turning our back on it would be a huge mistake IMO.

My 2c, have the clan badge over the left breast pocket. Slightly bigger than the other patches but not over the back like a die-hard biker. Will also keep the cost down I guess.
I agree with Phats, keep the badges small. Yes, its an affiiliation, but we dont need to be too loud.
- Could be we could find something similar online for Dennis?
