I think Jess has a sample from her friend. I can ask her to post the arm length of the jacket that she has, and possibly get the arm length of all sizes.

Sure, we could leave off the patches, but that would mean not wearing them at rAge, which would be a shame.

Updated the list with a few more people's feedback. We're still a few short, but as I've sent SMS's to almost everyone who hasn't replied yet (with the exception of Jackal and Musketeer - I don't have their numbers), I'm going to go ahead and order at the end of the day today.

If people can't even be bothered to come onto the forum and check it out (once they've been asked to do so), then I can't be bothered to chase them up again.

I agree, you have done more than enough and you don't need to be chasing people up.

2 reminders is more than enough, if people haven't had their say now then default it to not wanting a jacket

Okay, this from Jess regarding the jacket sizes:

Ok..went to fit the jacket on my hubby tonight. He is about the same size as Jono....quite slim, no beer boep ;) [32/34 waist; 40 chest] A medium fitted him nicely and he had a jersey on underneath. Jacket is VERY nice, I'm going to throw in an order for my hubby with yours :D The retail price on the jacket was R1700 - so they really are giving a nice discount :D R600 incl VAT.

It's a slim fit jacket, so iow there is no bulkiness to it and unnecessary "poofness". So when you look at the sizes that the guys have given, just tell them that Jono is medium size and use him as your "barometer" just to double check that ppl are getting the right sizes.

As far as Onnie's size goes...I tried on the medium and it zipped up nicely over my chest, but I am a C/D cup - I think from what I remember, Onnie is a bit smaller...but a medium will prob suit her with room to spare - unless she wants a slim fit or to wear a bulky top underneath - but the jacket is really warm itself, so just wearing a long sleeve top underneath is adequate enough.

I hope that gives a clearer picture...there are definitely enough sizes now for and order of 25 - 30...but they need to know sizes by Monday latest as they start shipping out their stock after that. Oh, the material will def be able to have a badge sewn or stuck on, it's more of a "canvas" type material than a waterproofing type material if that makes sense.

Yay for a great deal! So glad I could help :)

I've asked if she can find out arm length of the different sizes, and what the biggest size is for Denis (otherwise Denis, we can try and source you an army tent, cut a couple of holes for your arms and head, and stitch some sheepskin onto the inside...)

OK based on this we need to relook the sizes maybe? If Jessie's husband take a medium and is similar to j0nny then most people who selected a large should take a medium. I am a 34 waist (believe it or not) and I can't imagine my chest being more than 40cm
So maybe I should change mine to a Medium, I preper slimmer fitting clothing to baggy clothing

Jarrod, based on Jess' feedback, may I change my order from Large to Medium. I am roughly the same size as Jono and I prefer slim fit to oversize. Unique physique etc.

No you aren't. Jono is thin, from shoulder to hip. You may have the same waist size as him, but you're definitely bigger on the shoulder.

For everyone, I suggest going with sizes that normally fit you. These aren't (from what I can gather) small sizes, so if you would normally by a large, then order a large.

I'm in a meeting for most of the day today. Will pop back from time to time to follow up.
