Yeah, for me the constraint would be time more than money, although both would factor. I think we plan as if DGL is at Rage and change those plans if this is not the case.

Im in for any braai event ect just to party with my clan mates. But as Paul said its best to wait and see what happens with DGL as in if we make a grrr event at RAGE and DGL makes an event flying or driving up 2 times in a space of say one and a half months is crap from Capetown ect. For me what made RAGE great was being able to take part of the comp, all the nerves before each game and talking face to face with clan mates on strats ect. THen also SHenanigans and the sizzlers ofcourse. But from my POV a comp makes everything more exciting and more worthwhile. But even if we not part of the comp I'l still come to come jam. Heck I was 4 years back at a RAGE.

rAge tickets go on sale on 4th August for rAge , that is like 3 weeks away and still no word on where the DGL finals will be held.
So what I say is this, we assume that we are going to rAge and we get tickets, we don't book accommodation or anything yet, I am sure we sure we can do that like a month before i.e. in september. By then hopefully we will know more and if we need to "move the weekend" then we can easily get rid of just the rAge tickets

So what do we need to know
1) Who is going to rage (assuming the finals are being held there)
2) How many tickets can you buy (in case they sell out fast and people don't get)
